I have been playing with the idea (requested by a few people) of combining a couple of my packages together (ie. one outfit from 3 or 4 different packages to form a "new" package, at the same price as my regular packages). I would include a few new, additional textures, and make those additional textures a free download for those who have already bought one of those 3 packages. I just wondered what the general concensus would be...

I think its a good idea. Given the opportunity I would like to ask you to make some clothes for Vicki. Or shoes. Or jewelry or..... :)

You know what would be cool... and I'm not sure exactly how it would work, it would probably involve too much work on your part... but if you let people choose which parts of different packs they could combine into a new pack... or even start a poll here, and find out which ones people would want from the different packs and take the top three or something... okay, I'll shut up now.

those are good ideas cin- :) i'm not sure how that would work...but i'll think some on it and see what i can work out with the store, or with individuals :) gladiator, thank you too :) i am working on dork at this moment, trying to come up with something for him...but fyi, my jewellery works with vickie, with very slight scaling on some pieces. i am still trying to get up the nerve to work on clothes for her again...the first package i did for her nearly killed me lol, when i kept trying to bash my head against her JPs!! G

Sounds like a good idea. Here is another. Since you make clothes, jewelery, and shoes. Why not make seperate packages with say....1 outfit, a matching jewelry set, and then matching shoes. I would buy that....a complete outfit. Of course...if that's what you meant or you already did that...just ignore me. grin

okay, so if i were to put a package out with one outfit, a pair of shoes, and some jewellery, i would like an opinion on: which one outfit would ya'll want to buy? I just looked through my packages.... gads, i have a lot of outfits to choose from LOL. i would greatly appreciate help on choosing some single outfits. TIA!

or some straight clothing combinations?

You know Lannie (over at poserworld)did this way back for Posette. he had coordinated Top, skirt, and shoes. All similarly textured. the textures added a little extra value by letting you mix and match. His concept could have been improved by adding some textures that are just solid colored cloth. I ditto the idea of including jewelry. Especially like broaches or necklaces that you can make part of the clothes and then turn on or turn off. (maybe it could morph behind the geometry of vicky to turn it off)

okay.... so this is what i've got now... the frill skirt and tank from my fashion pack v.4, a purse, shoes, earrings, necklace, and bangle bracelet. my wife went a wee overboard though, and created a skin texture, full body morph, and made me do hair too. i don't want to call it a character pack though, because that's not what i set out to do.... anyway, here she is :) (if there are any characters out there already named Bree, i apologise...it's my daughter's name, and she begged me to name this one after her) :)
