c0z- have you checked the Rendo's Vender section of the site? They do have information there for posting, listing, and filing merchant folders for selling.
Make a note, too, that it's not just how the folders are listed and how the texture/morph files are placed but how you have them filed when you make the inj and mat .pz2's. I've made the mistake of switching things around after making the files and the .pz2's...and it was an insta-headache. I can't stick around, but feel free to message me if you like. If I can help, I will!
Quote - I tried to edit the path, but it didn't take eblank. How do I actually edit a path like that?
( Sorry it took a while to get back, but I am trying to get this done as well as finish writing my website. )
You can use a free editor like "Notepad++" (link: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ ).
When you right-click on a pz2-file, choose: Edit with notepad++. In Notepad++, go to the menu bar and click "Search" (I have the German version of it, but it should be "search" in English). A small new window opens. Type "Runtime" (without the ") in the field after search for and then click the Search box on the right. Notepad++ will then hightlight the first appearances of the word Runtime in the text. If everything is correct, it should look like this for Poser: textureMap ":Runtime:textures:eblank:flamboyant:flambo1.jpg" .For a ds-file, it should look like "/Runtime/textures/eblank/flamboyant/flambo1.jpg" );
If there is anything before the :Runtime (e.g. "G:my folder:Runtime), highlight everything from the first letter after the " till : (including the : !!!), then Ctrl + C, go back to the little search/replace window, click on the Replace tab, in the field after search for Ctrl + V the text you highlighted before, in the field after Replace type in :, then click on the Replace box on the right. Now your text should have changed into the right form i.e. :Runtime:textures..." If everything is ok, you can hit the Replace all button on the right and the program will change all the Runtime text in the file. Don't forget to save your pz2-file!
Hope this makes sense. If you like, I could make a little tutorial with screen-shots - but not today :-) ... Or you could PM me.
1. create the poser runtime folder structure
place your textures in the folder
open daz studio and create the mat poses -saving to the pose folder in the above structure
right click on the mat pose and open in notepad-check file paths -remove anything before runtime -in all the lines that refer to a texture
include a readme file
zip the file -and give to tester.
what are you using to create the mat poses with? or
are you doing ds only files?

DS3 can't save Poser format MAT pz2's, just it's own DSA/DSB format files which Poser can't use, we used to have a MAT exporter for DS1 & 2 but it wasn't updated to work with 3. There was a free one made for DS3 but it's developer up and vanished so I have no idea if it's even stable or where to find it.
I have the Poser Exporter from Daz. It seems to work fine for character morphs. I made a bit of progress as my last test, I was told that there were no errors, it loaded the texture just like loading any other texture, but didn't actually add the mat. I think I may have missed a file edit for the runtimes.
i use this addon for ds3
works great!!
let me know if you have any other problems

Hi, hope everyone is doing well.
I hope I am posting this in the right place.
I have been trying to get real help with this for almost a year now, so if anyone caon or is willing to help me I would be very very greatful.
I have a couple of merchent resourse kits. I get how to actually create and apply the textures, but I seem to be doing something wrong when setting up the folders so I can release them. I have read so many tutorials, but they really only say how to make the texture and add it.
I could really use help on how to set up the folders so I can release them with my custom character morphs. I have tried everything. I have even looked at the folder set up for things I have bought and tried to set them up the same way, and even that didn't work.
I know I need runtime, libraries, pose, and texture folders. I have had a few people test and they say D|S can't find this or that, but I have placed them in the texture folder, and named them correctly.
I am really hoping that someone here can/is willing to help me, as no one else seems to want too.
I thank you in advance.
