The textures are in the pose section, there are different ones for the horses, carousels, and then poses for the horses.Click on poses, then look for carousel. :)

Here is a list of the file structure, as far as I know daz didnt change this before packaging it...I'm thinking of two possible causes for whats going on, either the download was bad and perhaps you need to redownload and install fresh, or maybe if you have the dual folder thing going on (ie metacreations and curious labs) maybe the installer got mixed up and put it in the wrong one...other than that I'm not sure what the trouble could be... heyas; if i understand this rightly, and there's a buncha figures.... when you go to apply a mat, you have to select the figure you want to change and apply a mat that has materials for that figure. for example, i made mat files for jelisa's gryphons, they are made up of one lion, one eagle, and one eagle's legs. the mat file has settings to change all three figures in one file, but you have to select each figure and apply it. so if you want the 'golden' gryphon, you have to select the lion, apply the gold gryph mat; select the eagle, apply it again; select the legs and apply it again. so if you have the carousel selected and hit a mat file for a horse, it wont do anything.
Since you mentioned the UltraSalon hair by Mehndi I decided to contact her and see if we could figure out what the problem was, and we did... In an effort to make my mat files space efficient (therefore loading faster, and not taking up any more space on your hard drive than absolutelly needed) I had been deleting lines that poser 4.03 doesnt utilize, specifically the 0 0 lines in mat poses directlly under the material file path... So, my products, and mat poses work perfectlly well on 4.03 machines, but can cause a problem for pro pack users apparentlly...I will never again delete that line...and I'm terribly sorry for the inconvience... If you'd like to test it Marque since you're having trouble atm, open one of the pz2 files in word editor and insert a 0 0 line after the texture file path lines...like the following textureMap "Silverleif Studios:Carousel:carouseltext1.jpg" 0 0 If that works for you please let me know and problem will be fixed, thank you for helping me find and hopefully fix this problem!
LOL Heya Marque, Daz did not figure out what the problem was with the MAT file mystery and Poser Pro pack for UltraSalon Hair, they did not have anymore clue on it than I did ;) It was not Daz that sent you an update, but me, you got the first files that worked, even before Daz got my update I sent to them to distribute, since you had waited so long for the fix. I also personally sent it out to all the customers whose email addy's I had who had written me of the problem, about half a dozen or so total. The problem is in the 0 0 line being missing from the MAT pose file. We are building these in regular Poser. It is actually a choice, since Pro Pack is so unreliable as told by so many. It seemed a more stable and better choice at least to me, to go on with Poser as it was, than to risk all the problems Pro Pack users have. So... no where was it ever announced that the 0 0 line is actually needed in a MAT file. Not even Daz seemed to know this, since it was off Daz templates for their hair and Vicki 2 files that I learned to make MAT files, by carefully inserting every line they chose to insert :) When Daz contacted me for a solution though, they did not have one :( Sorry for the long wait on it, and it is not even me who found the cure, but a really great guy here named Bodo Nittel, whom I at least owe a great deal of gratitude to :) Without him, the Pro Pack users would still need to set all materials and transparency by hand for the UltraSalon Hair. All in all, Pro Pack is not only a learning experience for you that are using it, but also for us who are developing products, and we are working without any documentation, on a trial and error basis. I know that I personally appreciate everyone's patience, and am thankful most especially that Bodo Nittel found the solution :)
Marque I just sent you a fix via email, please let me know if it works so I can make it availible to other pro pack users... Ronmolina The problem you're having is with all mat poses or just particular ones?...Occasionally poser freaks out on me and pretends textures arent there if I move the texture file prior to or after setting it up on the scene...but then of course I cant reload the texture because there is already a texture loaded with that name...sigh If it is loading the materials, but not loading them on the model, is it possible it loaded them to the wrong figure?...this also happens to me constantlly because I'll have the hair or something selected and try to apply the mat pose to the body, its terribly fustrating but the price we pay for conveince(sp?) Another possible idea is texture folder location, but that couldnt be it for you as you can put the materials on by hand after attempting to do it with mat pose... I don't know what might be causing the problem, but if you can send me any mat pose that doesnt work for you I'll gladlly take a look at it and see if I can help...If you've never used one of my mat poses you can find one in the Angie pack on my site and test it on victoria if you like...
