Does Morphing Clothes work with the WM version?

All of the Antonia Advanced Morphs work with the WM version, so yes, Morphing Clothes can be used to transfer the morphs to your clothing.

My Jeans and Tank Top have all the AO morphs transferred using Morphing Clothes.

It works great!! The only thing that is hanging me up at all is transfering some of the clothing movement morphs, like open shirt.  It gets the shape right but stretches the polygons across the opening.

Can you do the below in both P9 and P2012...or is that a P2012 process only?

  • You now have a weight-mapped conforming item. Re-name it and test it (without conforming) in the pose room. If it behaves the way you expect it to, save it to your figures library.
  • Exit and re-start Poser.
  • Test the piece with it conformed to an Antonia Figure.
  • If you want the piece for further use, open the Set-up Room and trim the rig down to the bones you need.
  • You can transfer any morphs from the existing clothing in a separate application like MorphManager.

Works also in Poser 9, as far as I know. However in Poser 9 you can not modify the weight maps to fine-tune them.

Errrm.  :unsure:  IIRC:

  • Place .vwt or .vwz data file according to folder path in download zip
  • Load Antonia and V3.  V3 should contain the head morphs which you want to transfer.
  • Start the TDMT Match Transfer script.
  • Select Antonia as "Target"
  • Select V3 as "Source"
  • Click "Browse for datafile folder"
  • Browse to location where the data file was installed
  • Select the data file in the list box
  • Select morphs to transfer
  • Click "Transfer Morphs"

If you want the script to work without having to browse for the data file, you'll need to change the folder names for the data file.  One of the folder names contains the name of the geometry file for an older version of Antonia.  This would need to be changed to reflect the name of the Antonia geometry for the version you're currently using.  Or the data file could be copied to a folder along the path using the current Antonia geometry name.

But that's transferring morphs.  To transfer the shape, you need to line up the Antonia and V3 heads by translating the Waist or Hip or BODY actors for the figures.  In this case, I think the eyeballs should be lined up as well as possible.  Then follow the above instructions, up to selecting the data file.  This time, click Transfer Shape.  The result will be a (slightly messy) V3 head shape for Antonia.

At that point, I would generally use the "Restore Detail" script on the TDMT page to clean up the morph.

The process is fiddly and complicated, even in the best case situation.  That's part of why TDMT development ceased and the script is pretty much unsupported at this point.  Another reason for this is that I am so terrible at explaining complex, fiddley processes.  :lol:  I am terrible with tutorials and instructions.  😊  Feel free to PM me if you want more in-depth help, and I'll do my best to explain.

Wow!

It is very, very hard to get a tiny, delicate chain started for a necklace.

If I don't posrt for awhile, check the mental hospitals to see if I'm there...lol.

I'm trying to get a chain necklace for my APG gal but it may take the rest of my life...sigh.

All of the TDMT scripts have GUIs already.  But you need to know where to place the files (the folder paths in the files on the site use an outdated version of Antonia and should be updated, but I need to find a new gtml editor before I can update my sites) and you need to know what buttons to push and when.  My efforts to provide instructions for the process haven't worked out so well.  :unsure:  What these (and many other of my scripts) need isn't a user interface, but documentation.  Whatever my skill set is, it still hasn't been able to grow to encompass writing decent documentation.  :lol:  😊

I don't want to derail the Antonia-WM thread with discussion about TDMT, though.  :scared:

I never really noticed about the head looking too small.

It seems normal to me.

I watch wrestling sometimes and the way the wrestlers beef up, their heads always seem tiny compared to the body...lol.

i'm working on more poses for her, hopefully i'll have time and can finish it quickly enough. i still need to further explore the differences between the standard bersion and the WM though. :)

Probably a very wise decision ;). I don't see at all why we can't have as many figures as we want. I'd use BH's girl for some things and happily use Antonia for others. No reason we can't. But to start bashing someone's product because some OTHER person unrelated to the product simply mentions it is the height of rude. There was no reason for that other than to be nasty.

Wow, A_ - those morphs are stunning!

Morphs that you create will work equally well in Standard and WM version. With WM, you have the advantage of, well, weightmapping (i.e, better bending and incredible clothing fits) and the optional sss-type shader that comes with her.

Somebody commented that Antonia is ugly. I myself don't like at all the default face, even though the inspiration (Nicola Roberts) is a beautiful redhead.

Using Afrodite-Okhi morphs, I managed to create a very faint resemblance of a renowned Bollywood actress (Kareena Kapoor). Resemblance... well, with an appropriate texture the two might look as if they came from the same planet but the message is that, even only with dial spinning, you can morph Antonia in sharply different characters (and all of them being "faries" :sneaky:).

B.t.w. if anybody is interested in the FC2, please let me know so that I might contribute it for the 21st Dec Antonia festival.

If one is patient the morphs can create different characters that does not look like fairies.

True, Antonia's default face is a bit... distinctive, but she seems to scrub up pretty well, in the right hands. I've seen renders where judicious hair-style and makeup makes her look quite pretty! (paging Amethyst: skilled artist that you are! 😄)

 Now that we are seeing Antonia with morphs that make her more traditionally "cute" or "pretty" I think we will see a broader interest. Most want to render people who look better than themselves (I do!). Looking good folks!

 Looks like a Boticelli paining. The Birth of Venus or Venus on the half shell!

If it is not an intentional resemblance, it must be subconscious! Creat a Giant Clamshell and you are most of the way to the first Boticelli Poser character

Sweetie, Antonia in her default state looked better than I do. 😄 Seriously. I'd be delighted to look that good. :lol:

In truth I'm more likely to use Antonia's default face than I was ever likely to use v4s.  I have not oncedone a render I considered 'complete' with v4s default face.  Antonia I have done several.  She has her own look, but its definitly usable.  What I'd really like to see is a more in depth expression system (or pose pack.. I'm ok with being lazy :P )

Heck yeah, Lazy is my middle name, particularly when it comes to hands. We so need Ilona's touch here...

Poses and expessions, this is what we need for her badly. I am to lazy for poses, so I hopefingers cross Anat do some.  

Expressions, I am worst with this. My characters look silly each time I put my hand on some expressions.

and - yes, i'm doing poses. so we'll see, maybe i'll release some hand poses too. so many things to do, so little time! :)

I just render your Poppy :) Yes, she is a beuty. As soon I have the render finish, I will upload the Image in my Gallerie.

Old Masters are our Inspirations too . I am a big fan from Waterhouse, Raphaelo , Michelangelo and Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema. Pure beauty they created in their artworks.
