Have you installed Sr 1?
A word is not the same with one writer as with another. One tears it from his guts. The other pulls it out of his overcoat pocket

So is that TTFN or TANSTAAFL?

I was having some problems like that. I even had clothing end up as a lump on the figure head when I opened a previously save PZ3 file. What solved the problem for me was to go into "General Preferences" and UNcheck the "use external binary morph targets", (if it is checked). This may not help, but it is a thought.

Hello,
I did not have this issue, but the mentioned problems with "corrupt PMDs" occur frequently when I save a figure (complete, including conformers) from a scene into the library. This is with PoserPro 2012 before SR1 as well as with SR1. I didn't have the problem with PoserPro 2010.
Best regards,
Michael
Quote - I've had that problem with dynamic clothing only, so far. Sometimes I have to delete the offending cloth, reload it and run the sim again, and then re-save the file and then it opens fine. Some glitch I presume. I don't use the save PMD, so... ??
If this happens with dynamic cloth - just reset the simulation and re-run it.
If you have a clue what triggers this - please let me know. For me it always happens when I load another scene - but only occasionally
Regarding PMD's. There were a number of issues solved with SR1 with PMDs. If there are still some left SM likes to know how and when so they can solve it. I am using the PMDs all the time without problem and I have had many issues with it in PP2012 and previous versions - they all seem to be gone now
But that may not explain the issue from the OP

next time you have this try to clear the simulation and run it again, maybe you don't need to delete the cloth.

I purchased 2012 Pro a couple months ago and have been working on producing some new clothing items for V4. I have found that if I save the Poser file with the clothing items and then reopen the file the verticies of the clothing items are scrambled. Theres nothing wrong with the obj, if I reimport the clothing item from its original file, its just fine. Ive experienced scrambled verticies before with morph targets that Poser didnt like, but that happens immediately upon import.
This new issue only occurs after the file has been saved.
Any ideas?
