I seem to be stuck on what this scene needs. Anyone care to make suggestions?

Here's some: (IMHO) 1. Move the girl off-center (I been readin' up on composition). 2. Maybe something in the distant background? A lone tree or something? 3. What is that next to her? If it's water, it probably shouldn't have a shadow. 4. The position of the hand resting on the leg doesn't look natural. Question: What is she looking at? Should the audience be able to see it? Well, maybe not. That's it. Nice pic.

Looks like the girl should have the same water material applied to her as the ocean, as if she should also be made of water.

If it's a small stream next to her, it should have a source. She seems to be sitting on a rock that's higher than it's surroundings, so it's confusing where the waters comming from. Perhaps a spring comming up from the rock? Looks good so far!

The shadow on the water is actually a reflection of the shadow on the rock, so that's OK. The problem is the lighting on the figure is too flat; not enough contrast between light and shade. Perhaps the ambience is too high?
