for some reason i can't let go of the idea of using Cloth room to shrink wrap outfits to other characters, but it never actually works.

Hmm...I applaud your effort EClark ;). Doesn't change the fact though that her face looks like something from out of this world and her toes look like Tootsie Rolls...lol. Not your fault for certain...lol.

At least someone is using her...hehe.

Actually, I just got Anastasia for a birthday gift, thanks to a very kind hearted benefactor, but I still plan to use Alyson. I like her.

If you inject Anastasia into the Alyson base, you can use Alyson's morphs in combination with Anastasia.  Just dial them in a bit at a time (in other words, don't combine in full strength) and you'll be able to create some very nice body shapes when you start with Anastasia as a base.

Well, actually, if you're using Anastasia, you're still using Alyson, so i don't mind. Plus it just goes back to what I said originally.  I don't use Alyson without morphing her anyway.

I have Anastasia thanks to a friend, but I don't have the version of Poser that I can use her in yet...lmao. I have to wait until the spring for that ;).

Glad you got her. I've seen some nice morphs of Anastasia as well if you don't care for her default :). And while it is true she IS Alyson technically, I think Gabe moved every single vertex in her...lolol.

i am not exaggerating when i say i could have modeled and uv mapped a new figure in less time than it took to correct Alyson via 'just a morph'.

Scales do not get saved as I'm aware. Not sure how ppl do that...by editing the .cr2 I suppose. You might wanna touch up her knee with the morph brush where the scaling has messed it up a bit

Still working on it. Do you like her face? And if you check the thread Alyson thread at RDNA you'll find her as Alisha and Izumi.

Has anyone tried the new Janine character for Alyson?

I do like her overall shape. Not crazy about the face tho ;). I think the nose is way too narrow and the chin is too pointy. No reflection on your skills of course...lol. Alyson doesn't give you much in the realism department to begin with :-P.

 Also the bottom of the nose looks flat- no roundness or curves-it just stops. I've never seen a real nose that does that. There are a few morphs I've seen that fix that.

With heroic effort-and skills- she can be made into someone more realistic-as in the pretty, fit young Anastasia. I have found real people online that resemble her. Of course there are real people who have similar body shapes to Aly2- just none with that face.

Got inspired by this thread to load up Alyson2 and play.

Not the most accomplished work you'll ever see as this was a test really but I think it came out OK.

Thanks, grichter. Truth is that Alyson is a great figure for me to use to learn more about Poser. While I don't really plan on distributing the morph for Teen Alyson, I really want to be able to get to that point. And if in doing so, somebody else wants her, well....

I only used the Faceheart morph here, and the Anastasia feet morph to fit PhilC's shoes. The dress is just something I made trying to learn modeling in Blender. Phantom3d was nice enough to conform it for me, but unfortunately it has no morphs.

The texutre is also Blackhearted's Anastasia texture, and the hair is a modified strand hair for Sydney that comes with Poser. My first real attempt to work with strand hair since it first came out.

I took a shot at him again, using the Face room this time.

If I had more time I would do a skin texture, poses and a morphs for Ryan but I need to work in other projects first.

Alyson and Ryan had nice and easy templates and their mesh is easy to work with. Their bending is also good. As most of the figures they just need dedication.

BTW, the textures I have used in Queen for Alyson2 - MORPH RESOURCE belong to a commercial skin resource (only for commercial endings and rendered images): DR6-Alyson
