MarketPlace Showcase F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 05 4:52 pm)
This one is available now at:
Some notes:
You will need to turn cast shadows of the domes manually. You just need to select the domes when there in the scene and on the Paramaters tab under display turn OFF cast shadows.
Everything will render fine with it on though infinite lights will cast a shadow from the domes when Cast shadows is turned on.

Compatability with The Skyreach moon set you can apply the new clouds to the cloud dome but when you load a moon with the new Skyreach Clouds setup you may see some collision and the transmaps for the moons would need some work to look right on colored skies.
Skyreach Pro Clouds is currently under testing for use with Reality 2 plugin. I should have some more info abouts its compatibility soon.
One small bug has come to light.
When Unzipping it will generate an error report as some file names have some character symbols which windows doesn't allow. Generally the file will be renamed and as its a non-resource file everything will function as normal with the modified file name.
I will address this in an update soon.
Heres a few more preview images.
Well everyone should of received there update message by now.
And hopefully version 1.1 is running smoothly.
Let me know if you run into any issues with the new version
I'll send out another tip email in the next day or to for those who were interested in receiving more.
I just made up some free poses that will make the moon and the planet pack more compatible with Skyreach Pro clouds.
Both the moon and Planets use a Sky Arc prop where the Planet/moon texture is displayed. The original pose setting collided with the outside cloud layer.
The new Poses fix any collision issues and place the sky arc between the Outer Cloud layer and the background layer.
Some of these will only look good on a dark background because this is how the textures were setup for viewing on a black star dome.
But plenty look great and you can adjust the texture using the Diffuse ambient and opacity settings to more closely match the sky.
The Sky Arch has a spotlight as part of its components you may need to adjust the Intensity of this if there is to much flare on the clouds. Changing the color of the spotlight will also help to blend the planet moon closer to the sky.
So you can just load the sky arc and use the new poses to place it at the right distance between the other objects. I can now say yes they are compatible with a few small limitations.
