Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday
Shit, I can't believe that. I thought he had been quiet of late. Top bloke as well. I mentioned about getting a wacom and how he was getting on with his. He sent me over a gnomon workshop dvd from the states to uk just so I could get some practice.
Really fantastic artist as well, god bless Rod.

Not been here enough to get to know anyone well, but I would like to add my condolences. His memory will live on in the wonderful images and artwork he produced. Rest in peace RodsArt.

Terrible news indeed about one of the greats. My condolences to his family.

And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...
I am so thankful to have had a chance to have Rod as a Renderosity friend. I first met him here when he was ICM. We always took time to look at each others work, and encouraged each other as often as possible. There is an empty space in my heart today where he used to be.
Goodbye, my friend...
This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Oh no! He was so encouraging and generous, never impatient with those like me so far below his extraordinary talent. He had a great flair and expertise with Bryce, and not just Bryce - a true artist. I'll miss him a lot.

I cant believe this... He did say he was sick and was taking a break.
He was such a generous individual with amazing talent. He was doing some art of my website and the e-mails stopped and I figured he was busy and didnt bother him.
Here is the background image he did for my website.
You can see where is says menu item was place holder to where the menus would go.

Thanks A-X64. Nice to see a little more of Rod's amazing work. I can still remember when his designs were picked by Renderosity for the site headers, etc. This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

I wasn´t familiar with Bryce. I have it but its hard to learn. I do Poser since 10 Years. But I am sad about the loss of one of us too. I am wishing his family all my good blessings. He was too young, he fightet against that bad thing cancer ;-( Let us remember him - and let us see that life is to short and worthy to have Trouble. Dear Rod - we see us - we will see us in Heaven... Bye to a wonderful man, husband, dad, brother, son, friend and more
I'm always strangely struck whenever someone from here passes away. Somehow I feel as if all of you are somehow "forever". Unfairly so, this is not true and I am extremely saddened to hear this news as like a lot of you we have had a great deal of socializing with Rod here at Renderosity and in this very Forum over many years. This is a great loss.
I'd like to think that whevever he may be, he is still creating his art.

I haven´t stopped by this forum for a long time and I didn´t know he was in this struggle. My heart froze when I read this. He was a friendly soul that you always could have a good and constructive discussion with. I`ll cherise all the comments I got on my works from him. My condoleanses to his family.

I just got a site ail from his wife Kristan and it seems cancer has taken our friend and fellow Brycer RodsArt. It has been a long battle for him but he is beyond it's reach now.
