Google is your friend.
poser rigging a shirt
or
poser rigging conforming

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
@ TheDuckee: there's the easy way, or the right way. Which do you prefer? One will actually teach you how to rig an item for a figure. The other will take all the pain away but you'll never learn all the fine detail on how this works.
First: how to rig... this is taught by the master-rigger himself: Phantom3D.
Or, you can cheat... and it's okay to cheat. This is a really awesome solution.
I'd go with the second one first (not expensive, and gets you awesome results). And, when you decide you want total control and want to really larn the thing, get the skinny from Phantom3D.
Also, BB made an incredibly important point: Google is your friend. You'll actually find posts on HERE that the Rendo search engine can't provide. (Note to Rendo search developers... overhaul time, guys. Hey, you can always invoke the google search mechanism within the site, ya know... works a treat!)

I think I'm going to try out PhilC's 'cheat' way for now! Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out and not be throwing money into the wind again!
This all brought up another question for me though, PhilC's or the tutorials I watched listed here, don't really address creating the morphs for clothing so if someone were to give V4 (or whatever character) a bigger chest, the clothing I create won't morph with it with PhilC's thing... is there a tool out there that helps create the morphs? Or can someone point me in the direction of some helpful tutorials on that as well?
TIA!

He does an incredible job of de-mistifying the process and helps you understand the tools you will need.
I will! I glanced and it looks helpful, I feel a bit out of sorts on the process right now so this looks great. Thanks for sharing that with me! I think I feel like I modeled this shirt, and it turned out and it turned out not to shabby. I just want it to instantly work on my Poser Figure! If only it were that easy. :)

Yes, it can be very confusing (and costly if you buy the wrong tools). Just go slow and try to understand the process first. Then, we can help here with specific questions as you continue through getting it rigged.

So I created a shirt for Cookie. It turned out pretty nice. I got a UV Map...... now what!?
I'm so lost about what to do next. I know that somehow I have to get the shirt to conform to Cookie and move with her... but how?! If anyone can help or point me in the right direction to get started I'd be so greatful!
