Subject: Lyne's Creations Freebies Thread! New offerings often!

Lyne ( ) posted Fri, 16 December 2011 at 11:51 PM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 7:23 AM

Hello! I have officially started a "Lyne's Freebies" thread, so that all my new Freebies can go in one thread...

PLEASE, visit the images in my gallery (FreeStuff -Animals section) to leave your comments - so that all additions to THIS POST will just be mine - for the links to the page for the downloads! I appreciate your help so that my posts with the new links don't get lost among your kind comments! :) I hope to upload nearly my entire store products eventually and that will be a lot of posts here!

Enjoy!

My newest Post is the next most popular Wild Cat - my Cougar morph of the DAZ mil cat! There are two color coats (one dark and one light) because I have seen Cougars (or panthers) of America in both shades... Poses are included!

You can find the Cougar zip here:
http://www.lynescreations.com/lynesfree4.htm

My FreeStuff Gallery Picture/Announcement is here:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2280270

Enjoy! I am very happy to share my work with you all!

NOTE!! I HAVE CONSOLIDATED ALL MY FREEBIES ONTO ONE PAGE AS OF JAN. 5TH, 2012!

http://www.lynescreations.com/lynesfree.htm

You can book mark this page and check back periodically... I will be adding TWO more WILD CATS in a few days for the month of January. The bandwidth has been fine, for me to put up two a month, as my time and health allows. :)

Sorry for any confusion, wish I could edit my first post!

Never knew these existed until you ran your poll.  They are all wonderful and I grabbed all the ones that are available to-date (6 so far).

Do you have a favorite?

Hi Lyne,
Would you please consider one day re-release of your add-on for Farrow The Rat Dragon? The figure itself is no longer available, but I bet there are still people like me, who love the little fellow no matter its age  :blushing: And even if not, I'm still thankful for those wonderful kitties! hugs

Hi Lyne,

could you please tell me, where I can get the maps to your diff. Ultimate Horse like Arabian, Quarter or Thoroughbred? On your site are only the morphs and no maps of them and I would like to use them. Perhaps you would like to give us also the maps of your horses?

Thanks a lot for your share!

I have heard rumblings that people would like my bovines- my cows, calves, longhorns, and oxen, etc... so I think I will make some small zips for each set. These are full poser models, obj and all. Stay tuned!

Enjoy!

There are no maps OF MINE available for those horses... those MORPHS at PlanIT3d are for the Poser horse, not the mil horse, and you need to use any maps you have bought for the original horse on them. Sorry, morphs only.

In the future, I will be offering my Mil horse MORPHS & MAPS sets....but it all takes time to fix up the zips and put them up. I am trying to upload the most requested animals first.  Thanks!

I want the neat things in life right away, myself. :)  But takes time...You can tell by my gallery posts I am dealing with a lot, even more than I normally do with my health.. but YES I will note your request! :)

My Red Fox and the young red fox kit are now ready for download on my website.

I have a new page for this set!
http://www.lynescreations.com/lynesfree1.htm

PLEASE NOTE! You will need "uvmapper" to create a new obj from YOUR OWN WOLF (comes with Poser or same wolf from DAZ) to use my new re-mapped wild canines!   There are no "bump" maps in my sets because the old "bum" files attach oddly in Poser plus they do not compress. It's easy to make a bump one of two ways: make a gray scale (rename it!) of the color map and plug it into bump or displacement OR simply plug in the color map to that location. (All I did for the original sets was to use a gray scale version of the color map.)  LINK ON MY WEB SITE PAGE for UVmapper! :)

Picture of Fox and kit here:
http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2298942

In the following weeks, I will announce the other types of Foxes, the Coyote family, and then the wild dogs, and wolves! Enjoy!

Hi,

I hate to post here but can anyone give me some tips about the steps I need to follow to remap the wolf. I have loaded the original wolf obj. into UVMapper and then saved it out without making any changes. Is this right? I'm thinking not as when I load the uvmapper .obj, the fox texture does not look right at all, it looks exactly the same as on the original wolf. Can someone please help me here?

Thanks :)

foxylady1 ( ) posted Sun, 26 February 2012 at 9:13 AM

I am in need of help also.  My wolf is an obz, not a obj.  Can anyone help?

Use the script supplied with Poser (or e.g. 7-zip or someother archive tool) to unpack it.

There's a UVS file which you apply before saving to make the required changes to the UV mapping.

Thank you nruddock.  I never knew obz = zipped file.

YOU NEED TO LOAD THE INCLUDED UVS FILE INTO MAPPER TO HAVE THE CORRECT MAP CONFIGURATION SHOW UP, AND THEN SAVE THE FILE AS THE SAME NAMED OBJ.

SO SORRY I HAVE BEEN ABSENT DUE TO HEALTH!
