However, it doesn't always follow that you need only the DS installer - quite often that gives DS material settings to be applied to the Poser figures and props from the DPC installer. Check the product page - that will usually say if the DS installer is stand alone. Also check the file sizes - if the DS installer is much smaller than the DPC it's probably settings only and needs both installers run.

I noticed items purchased at the DAZ store come with files named "xxx.DPC.exe" and xxxDS.exe"
It is my belief the DPC files are for poser and the DS files are for Saz Studio... Am I correct in my assumption?
