You do if the geometry isn't in the PP2; did you make it an external call PP2?

All the standard props .PP2s in the Poser library have a reference to the "runtime/geometries/props" folder. Most likely your Morphing Alien egg has the geometry embedded in the PP2.

those tentacles look like they were made for thic instance , nice work, like your texture, great render, looks more like i would imagine from the book than the latest iteration of WOTW's aliens.

It's actually a set of 3D procedural nodes (no actual image maps) plugged into the color, specular, bump and displacement channels.

Care to guess the mesh I used for the main bulk of the creature?  The answer may surprise you.  ;-)

Is that one of the 3D Universe figures?  Actually, it's Aiko 3!  Rather than being violated by naughty tentacle monsters, A3 IS the naughty tentacle monster in this instance!  I chose the A3 mesh for 2 reasons, one, her nose is so small by default I reasoned it would be easier to morph out of view (this was before I had a separate "no nose" morph), and, two, her eyes being considerably larger by default, I reasoned I could more easily scale them even larger to achieve those "saucer sized" black orbs Wells described.

I made "Egg Pod".... currently sold at renderotica (and soon I'll stop procrastinating and get it over to Con P). I've had soooo many products turned down from here in the last 6-7 months I've all but stopped trying to submit here(message reads "we are not interested at this time). I now only stop by to troll the forums for Q&A.

The Egg Pod is rigged. No morphs but the 4 rigged opening sections do the trick.

ahaaa now i know you...lol... i saw this posted 'over there ' interesting take on the egg, i like the slimey apearence almost looks sticky, looks fresh ...

 i wanted to do the opening similar to yours in 2000 but couldnt get there with what i had to work with at the time ,it wanted to fold in on itself... things are so much better now , i may rework the egg sometime in the future to make it better i have advanced a bit in my abilities in the last 12yrs and i have better tools....i like the renders in your gallery , ill have to start posting to my own gallery , i have tons i have done in the past but never posted , there are a few dozen scattered over the web under another name, but i've never posted here.

Phionix, those look great! Actually rather tasty, kind of a cabbage or brussels sprouts stuffed with a pasta and tomato sauce sort of thing.
