Hi guys, I am playing around with Superhose by Bice and Outoftouch and have come across this wierd effect that doesn't look right.

The superhose have been weightmapped as is the figure they are on V4.2

This was rendered in firefly with gamma correction turned off.

I also used EZskins free skin application on the Vicky figure.

Any ideas what it is and how to get rid of it?

Thanks

Marv

i think i had this in my last but one image in the gallery, try scaling the stocking up just a touch, that seemed to get rid of it for me

I've seen this as well with tight fitting translucent clothing and specifically with Superhose. A quick fix is to turn of "Visible in Raytracing" for the figure i.e. the stockings.

Thanks guys the turn of visible in raytracing worked like a charm.

I love this forum :o)

You can also try magnitizing the item for a better fit.  Also, this is just a huntch but lowering your ray bias might also help.

Okay thanks, I'll give it a go. Never magnetized clothing before I'll have to see if there is a tutorial, sounds good though.

Also on the same figure. Any ideas on what is causing the effect in the above image?

Once again I'm using EZskin with the "Final" settings and baggins subscatter trick set to on.

Thanks again and sorry for bombarding you guys with this stuff :o)

Nasty looking rash!!  Try using EZskin without the BB trick.  That was predominantly created for the bluishness around the mouth and eyes due to low scaling settings on the SSS node.

V4WM has no magnets in the legs; only in the chest area...
