For some reason Reality disappeared from DAZ4...Everything ok with Daz3..Anyone have  a clue??  Will also post in Reality Forum.

Which version, and did you isntall it to DS4? it's a plugin so it needs to be the correct vesion (reality 2 is the only one with a DS4 plugin) and it needs to be installed to that version.

Try switching the theme andstem switching back. See the FAQ for details : http://preta3d.com/forum/reality-faq/ 

Can youcall Reality by using the keystroke: Ctrl-Shift-L on Windows or Cmd-Shift-L on Mac OS

I've tried that...Reality is not listed in the render pull down..

keystrokes don't work...Won't workthat  it doesn't show as being loaded..

Daz3 NP..Daz4 is a nightmare.

The it sounds like Reality is not installed anymore. Have you checked the "Installed plugins" window of Studio. If the installation is done properly Reality will be listed there.

Thank you for the screenshot but that doesn't tell us much. You need to check the "About installed plugins" window of Studio to verify that Studio has loaded the plugin.

Also, you have copied the installer itself in the plugins/Reality directory. You need to remove it from there. That is not the location. Move it in a directory where you can keep it safe, the installer must not be in that directory.

Ok moved the installed out of the Reality folder.

 

NO..Reality is now showing up in Daz Studio 4 installed plugins. Pulling my hair out as it was working and disappeared..

Somebody once mentioned that there is a flag on Windows about "Vista compatibility" that caused problems. It might be for Studio.exe or the reality DLL. Right click on those files and see if you can find that flag.

Didn't have Smart Content showing up in Daz4 but Reality was. Infact what I did was transer the files from my other comp...Even had to register it once again. Then like a dope I reinstalled Daz4 to get my Smart Content back.  Guess what??? Reality disappeared once again.. None of the tips work on getting it to show  This is really is a Daz bug since it installed to Daz3 with no problem.

WinXP 32 bit..

If you have reality for daz4...plust Lux render..think you are st..
