I created head transplanted figure. [See here](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?message_id=3586775&ebot_calc_page#message_3586775)

It worked quite well, but there was a narrow crack over the neck. I could not weld head to neck (neck was created in wings, body was Nearme and head was Koshini).

All suitable morphs worked well but I did not know which way I can eleminate split. I tried to modify mesh in Wings but it caussed "wrong number of verticles", finally I welded mesh in Poser, using grouping tool.

In UVmapper meshes looks the same, but facet structure was incompatibile. Morphs looks weird.

I have 2 questions

  1. Do you know any software which does not change verticles structure and let me easy adjust separate verticles? (free preferably)

  2. Is there any software/script which can transfer morphs between similar meshes? I mean face morphs. I know that it is possible with Poser clothing room, but this is extreme hard work.

I tried to search forum, but I found only thread about V3 =>  Antonia expression transfer and threads about Clothes Converter (is is possible thet CC would work?)

Thanks

Shuy

Well hexagon (which i think is still free) never gave me a problem on vertice order, but do not smooth.

Thanks for reminder. I just dowloaded it from Daz store.

Although would be nice if I can fix existing mesh - I spent few hours adjusting each vertex ;)

Blender will do it too.

Think I would prefer to use Blender. I like Hex, but it never works properly on my machne, hanging up or not performing tasks as it is supposed to do. No wonder it is free! :D

BTW, Dark Edge Design has a tut on their website that helps you to ensure work flow, and it specifically addresses vertice count. Don't have the url but will try to find it.

Thanks. I tried to use blender few years ago,  but gave up. Hex looks more "Microsoft style".

I downloaded Hex some time ago - when Daz released free version, but not installed yet. I noticed that Poser, Vue and one more 3d software (do not remember which one) did not wanted cooperate when some video codec were installed.

Blender from 2.5 up has a new GUI. Much more user friendly than 2.4 and proir.

Plus it will run on about any system that has open gl drivers.

2.6 looks better. I think I'll not try to fix my mesh with blender, but I'll try again to learn this software. Thanks for info.
