Hmm...I'm still trying to figure out this whole Gensis thing.  I don't want to spend another several hundred dollars on a new figure.

they've got the beta numbers wrong. It should read 5.4 not 4.5

Oh you'll want to get Genesis, spend a bunch of money and get all the Genesis accessories as well.  It's definitely worth it.  IMHO of course.

As much as I dislike Daz right now for their numerous sins, I can honestly say that they got it right when they made Genesis.  The figure lives up to the hype.

I suggest you wait until after they get everything running again, because they might be offering some good discount prices on Genesis products.....maybe...hopefully...

Hahaha...you got sharp eyes Ian, that one went right by me...speaking of eyes, whoever they used for texturing Aiden must have had one really rough night before the shoot - poor guy looks like he was in a bar brawl or something LOL

LMAO glad I'm not the only one that thought that... at least it's not pure white (or glowing) like a few I've seen... lol

he he he, i got Aiden even tho i don't have M5 yet ( waiting for a sale or magazine cover disk ;) ) but ur right, he definitely looks a bit rough :)

Rough is good imho. Helps break up the artificial uniformity, and make the character look more real. Now if we could just have characters with asymetrical features...

Hey Hamsterchickiel! (hehe you remembered what I call you LMAO!) :D  It's great to see you again :)  Yep, I got the boot well over a year ago.  Daz3D, it seems, has been boot happy on a lot of people and got quite strict on people expressing their personal opinions on things.

I won't say anything about the unforgiving vendors there, but I do miss being with all my friends.  I mainly hang out at DeviantArt and have since met a lot of good folks in the 3D realm as well as other artist areas.  I'm starting to hang out here as well, but wish my buddies would come here too, so we can ask questions, help other, and have a good time being friends again.  Seems the Daz Studio forums need some traffic.

So what have you been up to Hammie?  Been getting good on that excersize wheel? :D  It's great to see you hon, hope you come around more often! :) hugs

...wolfie

Ah so the rumors are true, i am pretty sure of one thing.

poser will surely be defeated by studio 5 technology and it's new features.

i have heard that animation would be as good as iClone or better.

I am so curious if this is really would happen?

that means a final exit and the use of poser to me.

been there done that to long, poser never evolved to the program what I hoped for years.

but the truth is simply.

today i would like to do so much more, like start cool animation vids and projects.

i am done with still renders, animation is so much more fun.

and low budget pc's, workstations $$$ price ranges achieve the budget for hobby people.

animation difficult of course, but with the right tools a love to play and learn with.

I wished that posing and animation was better done in poser, to bad it's still not done in version 2012.

i have seen sold poser from company to company to company, there was never a proper evolution of the software :(

to bad, they had the chance to be the best.

a pity that poser developers not took their better chances.

i think we can expect some DS5 version near the end of the year or beginning of 2013.

if the world still excists after 12-21-2012  :)
