From police duty in a futuristic hi-tech city, to violent combat on a forgotten planet, the G2MA Mobile Armor will protect the wearer/pilot while subduing the enemy. The armor gives the pilot increased strength and the built-in weaponry makes sure she has the possibility of a quick response.

The G2MA is a science fiction kit primarily for Victoria 3 and 4. It consists of two parts: the G2MA Mobile Armor and the G2MA Pilot Suit. The armor is fully jointed and the lid/hatch on the hull/chest can open and close using a single dial. Poses and instructions are included to easily place the pilot in the armor.

The G2MA is delivered with two different texture sets included, one for a brand new machine and one for units that have seen their share of combat action.

What's included?

  • The G2MA Mobile Armor.
  • Two different texture sets: New and Scarred.
  • Three different poses for the armor.
  • The G2MA Pilot Suit in two versions: one for Victoria 3 and one for Victoria 4.
  • All the poses you need to correctly place the pilot in the "driver's seat" and eliminate poke-through problems.

System Requirements

Poser 6 or above, Victoria 3 or 4.

Needed Files

To fully utilize this product, it requires the previous purchase and installation of Victoria 3 or 4. The Victoria 4.x Base can be downloaded for free from Daz3D (www.daz3d.com).

Installation instructions

Extract the ZIP archive into the selected Runtime folder or use the Poser Content room function "Install from ZIP file". (This product shares some files with the "G2MA Mobile Armor for the G2 female figures". If you have already bought and installed it, Poser will ask you if you want to overwrite some files. You can answer "Yes" to these questions.)

Using the figure

  1. Load the "G2MA_V" Mobile Armor from the Library (you can find it in Figures > Oscillator > G2MA_V).

  2. Load either Victoria 3 (V3) or Victoria 4 (V4).

  3. Load the appropriate Pilot Suit: "G2MA_V3_Suit" for V3 or "G2MA_V4_Suit" for V4 from the Library (Figures > Oscillator > G2MA_V).

  4. Make sure the suit is selected and chose "Conform to" from the "Figure" menu. Select V3 (or V4) from the drop-down list.

  5. To lessen the chance of poke-through, select V3 (or V4) and apply the pose "G2MA_V_Hide_Body" (Poses > Oscillator > G2MA_V). This hides the pilot body parts inside the suit.

  6. To place the pilot in the correct position inside of the Mobile Armor, select V3 (or V4), remove the inverse kinematics on the legs, and apply the pose "G2MA_V3_Driving" (or "G2MA_V4_Driving).

  7. To make the pilot stay in the Mobile Armor if you move it, select (with the V3/V4 character still selected) "Set figure parent" from the "Figure" menu and select the "Chest" part of the Mobile Armor (G2MA_V) in the hierarchical list.

  8. To avoid any V3/V4-Mobile Armor poke-through problems, select the "G2MA_V3_Suit" (or "G2MA_V4_Suit") and apply the pose "G2MA_V_Suit_Hide_Legs".
Now you can open and close the lid, pose the Mobile Armor any way you want, and let the pilot drive it to fame and glory!

Opening the lid/hatch

  1. Select the Mobile Armor ("G2MA_V").

  2. Chose the "lid" body part. In the "Parameters Dials" window, turn the dial called "open". "80" is a good value for a totally open lid/hatch.

Changing texture

  1. In the Pose room, select the Mobile Armor ("G2MA_V").

  2. Switch to the Material room.

  3. Load the "G2MA New" or the "G2MA Scarred" material from the Library (you can find it in Materials > Oscillator > G2MA).

Free expansion pack

You can download the free and versatile "G2MA Mobile Armor Expansion Set" from Renderosity (http://www.renderosity.com). Search for "G2MA Mobile Armor Expansion Set". The shoulder mounted Rocket Launcher and Plasma Cannon will provide additional fire power while the "Divide-and-conquer" Saw Arm will increase your close combat capabilities. The new jungle camouflauge provides stronger protection while the additional 360 degree "Agressor" head silently scans the surroundings for incoming hostiles.

Notes

Due to the complex interaction between the poser female and the armor, for some poses you have to hide the "Hip" body part of the "G2MA_V3_Suit" (or "G2MA_V4_Suit").
