Yeah, my watermark for my copywrite is spookielilone.deviantart.com is this still allowed or do I have to redo my watermark?

Ok, I have talked to Kristi and, yes, this means that if you use a deviant art link as your signature or post it on your image, this needs to be changed as they count as static links.
Concerning older images, this new policy went into effect on the 15th of August. Therefore, anything posted before then can stay as it is so you do not need to worry about going back through your gallery and removing links to DA from images or descriptions that were posted before this date.
I have upated the announcement to reflect these clarifications as well :)
If there are additional questions, please let me know!
Sorru if I'm a bit confused, are we not now allowed to put links to our images if they are on DA rather than here? ...or are you talking about resources etc? If I knew how to post more than one image a day on renderosity, then it wouldn't be so bad... but when trying to get help from the forums and I can only link to a post on DA, it seems a bit peculiar if you no longer allow it? Have I got the wrong end of the stick? (It wouldn't be the first time! lol)
My apologies for not responding sooner. I wanted to check to make sure on somethings before I responded.
It has always been a rule that resources, etc could not be linked to as links to offsite products are not allowed and links to freebies are only allowed in the Freestuff Forum. However, as of August 15th, all links to DevianArt are prohibited except in the FreeStuff Forum as they are advertising text and are not allowed.
I hope that clarifies things :) The staff realizes that this is a big change and will take some time to adjust to (for the staff too!). Please feel free to contact any of us with questions, comments, or concerns you have so that we can do our best to make this change as smooth and painless as possible for everyone.

Can you please clarify what you mean by advertising text? I'm still not sure what you mean? Do you mean I cannot link to my DA gallery in my signature area, as there are a lot of people who are still doing that, so seems unlikely. I'm not sure that my gallery counts as 'advertising text' - so I'm still not sure what you mean when you speak of 'advertising text'? (sorry, but this internet stuff is a bit of a mystery to me at the best of times!)
I've also been trying to find out how to link to a larger image posted else where, say on deviant art, and have been told to right click and insert the hyperlink. Now that can be done directly to the full size image, such as;-http://www.deviantart.com/download/325041922/arabian_prince_ii_by_mbinz-d5dirya.png and as that is just an image, I am confused about that as well... as that is on deviantart?

This was started on August 15th,so all images from that date forward can't have Deviantart links on them or in the comment section in any form. It's advertising text because you can sell or give away items that are similar to the some of the items here at Renderosity.(hope I phrased that correctly) I'm not sure how to link images posted elsewhere to here so hopefully someone will know this.

THE INFORMATION BELOW HAS BEEN UPDATED AS OF SEPTEMBER 27TH, 2012
Hello All!
The new rule about links to DeviantArt which was put in place on August 15th has been reviewed and revised. We hope that these changes will address the concerns that members have brought up concerning this rule. As such I have revised the information below to reflect this change :)
Links to DeviantArt are now allowed in gallery image descriptions as long as they go to one of the following:
*Galleries
*Gallery images
*Profile pages
*Prints
HOWEVER, if there are any downloadable products either for sale or as a freebies in the galleries or profiles, they are prohibited as they are considered advertisting text. Some examples of such products/freebies are:
*Photoshop Brushes
*Background Packs
*Stock Images
Credit may still be given (and is encouraged if you would like to do so) in the form of listing the information (example: background image by KittysTavern (DeviantArt) ), but please refrain from using any HTML code (clickable links) or Static Links (containing http://, www, and .com which can be copy and pasted into your browser).
A Note Concerning Freebies: Links to products not available in the Renderosity Marketplace or Free Stuff section are considered advertising text and are not allowed in gallery image descriptions.
If you create freebie products and you would like to link to them directly in your image descriptions, you can upload them to the Renderosity Free Stuff section and link directly to them there.
Alternatively, links to offsite freebies are allowed in the Freestuff Forum. If you wish, you may post a link there to an offsite freebie, and then a link to the image hosted in the gallery here that showcases the item in a rendered environment.
If you have any questions concerning any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact me or another member of the staff and we will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you, all, for being a part of the Renderosity community.
Happy Renderings!
