Working on a model for Anastasia

I need some feedback. I modeled this "Man's shirt" for Anastasia and was wondering what you guys think I could do to improve it.

The shirt is Dynamic, and the file is basically includes this:

Just as an aside, since the shirt is Dynamic, Miki4 can wear it as well. I'm also thinking of doing a version for Tyler since it's probably his shirt anyway.![](http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/art/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Looks very good. Can't tell from the render, but looks like it could use a little more cloth texture. Are there closed and fully opened versions as well? If so, I could see people getting a LOT of milage out of it!

Not yet, but I did think about it. Probably wouldn't take much to do it.

Also it's a basic obj. not really any textures to go with it yet since I suck at that part of it.

Looks like it could also use at least one subdivision? It looks a bit pointy and sharp in places, but good :). However that's something I could do myself if I wanted to. LOL

More subdivision, of course! I exported it at the level I stopped at to test it out so I didn't subdivide any further.

Those can easily be fixed with the morph tool smooth brush....Just use it after you run the sim, works like a charm...

I'd like to test your skirt, but one has te register, create an acount, lots of trash trying to download.

The collar could use some more definition.
Did you try with smoothing? I set smoothing crease angle on 180 on almost everything now.

Yeah, but if there's not enough polys to begin with, there's not much to smooth ;). Something I can take care of myself anyway ;)

A quick note before I test.

Please, please, don't put the runtime inside of another folder as it does not install correctly.

Go inside of the folder you currently have the runtime in, so you can see the runtime folder and zip from there.

Then it will install correctly.

If you install your file it installs as:-

PoserRuntimeMan' ShirtRuntimeProp etc. This will not work.

In fact there should be a Libraries folder in there as well as a folde called Props, not Prop.

It should be:-

RuntimeLibrariesPropsDynamic Clothing

All right Richard. It's good info to have and I'll try to remember it in the future.

Some one made a sample distribution file once, but I can't find it anymore. I had it, but lost it on my machine.

Also spotted you have not set it up as a Poser Prop file.

Load up your shirt into Poser.

Then save it to a folder in your Props section:-

Dynamic Clothing

Once you do that, Poser will create a prop file for you.

At the moment, you just have the obj and the mtl file in there.

Just tried with my UV map and it's all over the place.

You need to make a UV map for the lowest mesh.

Save the mesh.

Then you can use that mesh to subdiv as the UV will still be applied.

The buttons need to be constrained to the shirt otherwise they will probably just fall off.

Okay, so I UV Mapped the shirt as requested. Finally figured out how to use UVMapper, so win-win there.

Also found out that since the shirt is supposed to be a man's shirt anyway, it shold fit loosely around Anastasia. I also tried out the shirt on other models.

I put a belt on it and made it into a shirt dress....
