Subject: Download DAZ purchase list?

mamba-negra ( ) posted Mon, 19 November 2012 at 7:01 PM · edited Wed, 11 December 2024 at 9:40 PM

Does anyone have a simple way to download one's complete purchase list? My PC membership is going to expire in a couple of weeks, and I thought I would take a few days to make sure there aren't any items that I missed from the Dream House stuff.

I do know that I can skip through the pages, but it would be nice if I had the complete list, since they haven't added the search feature yet.

Good luck.  I just spent an hour today fetching the V4/M4 materials to reinstall.  I wish there were some way to (once again) sort by pc or mac and only get the downloads you need.

Nope, unless you use Google or Firefox to manually save each page with setting to show 50 items per page.

It is also annoying that we cannot sort the list other than alphabetically.

There is a file in the zip archive which is a possible virus or malware: rs.exe , or ReStarter.

Thanks.. I find it very annoying that Daz will not do this. Also getting Mac files for a PC is very annoying. They had it before..Bring it back..

Any more thoughts about this? It's worrying if a virus or malware has been included. :(

If in doubt, don't use.

If already using, doa virusmalware check.

All the best.

Yeah, I'm  a mac user, and find myself accidentally downloading the PC stuff everyonce in a while.

Their site was working pretty well before. I guess they preferred losing customers to having a more flexible item management. I love the idea: "Let's create a web store that is great for our employees to use and saves us some money on their salaries, but the customers will hate. That is definitely going to increase our sales."

Maybe Dilbert covered this and they misunderstood it as being a good business model?

Hm, so that's a windows program that scrapes your purchase list off of DAZ' website? I might be able to write a python script that does that. It would be funny if it could be run from poser! At least with a script, you could look over it (or have a knowledgeable friend do it, if you don't know anything about code) to make sure nothing creepy is done.
