Is DAZ3D down, I can't get to it?

A couple of other people, on the DAZ forums, have reported similar problems on their 'My downloadables' pages.

CyberMonday is not a great day to be doing updates for an eCommerce store. Unless it was unintentional.

Also kept getting the 'site is down for maintenance' message so I checked their facebook page and the links all go to:

http://www.daz3d.com/shop/shop

Which works for me. I don't know if they changed the address or something but my old shortcuts do not work.

On Google, the first result that comes up (an ad) works, while the next one listed as 'DAZ3D Home' does not. The individual sub-links (Shop, Forum, Products, etc) all work, however.

Hi, I can't reach the site at all.

I've used the links suggested above, but just get a "unable to find site" message from my ISP (Wales, UK)

If anyone can access Daz or the forums, please could you update us if they Know what's wrong?

Thanks

I can't get to the shop or the forums - all I've been getting for the last hour or so is 'www.daz3d.com is unavailable or may not exist.' -

BT? They seem to have lost DAZ, though other ISPs are OK (possibly after a brief glitch). The nice man at BT could only suggest trying again in a couple of hours - it may have cleared by then. I suspect a DNS issue - if I try pinging I get a completely spurious IP. Oddly the bugtracker subdomain is still alive.

RHaseltine ( ) posted Tue, 27 November 2012 at 3:59 PM

Ah, and it is now working for me.

gwythion ( ) posted Tue, 27 November 2012 at 4:04 PM

Thanks, R Haseltine, I expect that's it.

They're back for me again, now (ISP = Virgin UK)

I've only just got back on, but only after using a proxy to bypass whatever it was that was wrong at my ISP.
