We made a planet, a beautiful world
Let love surround it, and give it a whirl,
I can't understand why it's so hard to keep
This beautiful world living and free...

Time to let the watch unwind,
Tell your heart to make up your mind,
We can't wait to give at the end,
Wasting all the time we can't spend.

Great topic.
Should make for some awesome images.

Yes, that's a wonderful theme! And with three entries per member it could be a very interesting challenge.

dochtersions ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2012 at 9:53 AM

Hi friends,

Thanks Len, and Rocserum/Cornelis,

This topic gives us many possibilities, so it will be 'a big surprise challenge', definitely. :)

Have a great time, 'guys'!
Greetings, Mies.

P.S. I love the words of this song you posted, Len.

peedy ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2013 at 10:45 AM

Caramba, that was hard, to pick a winner!

Len, can't we vote for more images?
Like a #1; #2 and #3?
It's so hard to just pick one.

Corrie

peedy ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2013 at 10:47 AM

Thanks for the new Showcase!
And for including my images.
I am honored. :-)

Lenord ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2013 at 10:50 AM

Well, yeah we could, it would mean I have to disable the automatic vote counting, open a new thread in the Forum for the Voting and do a manual tally, also it would mean the Voting Process would no longer be Anonymous.

peedy ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2013 at 10:53 AM

So, that's ok, no?
Or would that be a problem for people?
Would it be too much work for you?
Honest, ok?

Lenord ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2013 at 11:57 AM

Danny in the Terragen Gallery does it that way sometimes.

Doesn't matter to me, whatever everyone wants I'll do. It's not like there is 100s of voters to tally usually only 20-30, thing I wonder about is if making it more time consuming for the voter will there be less participation...I don't know, maybe it will increase.

peedy ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2013 at 12:03 PM

I have no idea, Len.
Yes, I had Danny in mind.

Ok, I had to ask it.
I go with what everyone else wants. :-)
Thanks, Len.

Hi there friends :)

If you want to know my opinion: For me it's okay as it is now.

Have a nice weekend, and we'll see what the others want.

Mies.

I think Len, you are right,

Sorry Corrie, but one vote looks me better.

peedy ( ) posted Fri, 01 February 2013 at 11:35 PM

Ok, I go with one, too, then. :-)

I agree with Corrie that it was very hard to pick just one. So many extraordinary images! I think I went over all the entries at least 4 times before I could decide which one was the winner for me (although there were 2 others who had a very close call).

Still I think one vote is fine ^_^

alida ( ) posted Sat, 02 February 2013 at 8:25 AM

a vote is  fine with me,too

Hi Friends!

Congratulations to Sue, Cornelis and Karel, and their beauties.
So well deserved winners.
I'm with Cornelis, his theme is interpretated so diverse, and in a wonderful way too.

Mies/Jacomina :)

congrats to  all

kareldg ( ) posted Tue, 05 February 2013 at 3:53 PM

Also my congrats to Sue and Cornelis, but also to the others who shared this contest.

I always was very pleased to see your beautiful entries. Please keep going on!

Badsue ( ) posted Wed, 06 February 2013 at 11:03 AM

Thanks so much to all who voted for my image and congrats to Cornelis and Karel! And congrats also to everyone else who participated, there were so many great images posted this time! It was a great theme Cornelis had chosen, so I expected many entries anyway. Loved what I saw! I'll come up with a new theme very soon, wil send you a site mail, Len.

As for the number of votes theme - I'd like to stick with one because I find it harder to decide for 3.  As Len already said - it may afford too much time to pick 3 and there may be less votes - just guessing though.
