Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 25 12:38 pm)
The export option in the screencap you showed are the export options for "normal" export options - not GoZ. If you use the export options from the Figure!Export to GoZ menu everything should be properly scaled. It is placed in the ZBrush toolbox
Drag in the canvas to get the figure, rotate, zoom and position the camera and the morph away. After you're finished. Press the GoZ button in the tools and you will be brought back to poser waiting for you to name the morphs
For better explanation see the Poser manual
Quote - Thanks, I guess I just need to have a little more practise with ZBrush interface.
Yes, it is a complete different animal
Watch this video and it might help you to understand the workflow

Check out this thread...
AmbientShade was kind enough to provide a nice walkthrough of exporting via the GoZ option form the Poser figure menu, and setting the mesh up to work on in ZBrush...
...in brief, once in ZBrush drag onto the document... hit T, to go into edit mode.
then F to frame... drag outside of mesh to position it (shift key and drag to snap to a plane or however you'd describe it) then maybe F to frame it again.
Then use the Scale and Move options maybe to zoom in on it... etc.
Does take a bit of getting used to... but it comes to you, I've found.

I have the latest pro 2012 SR 3.1
Here is the export options I saw in the manual I can't find.
That dialog looks like the export options for COLLADA, which isn't related to ZBrush or GoZ.
To send objects to ZBrush, you use either
Figure > Export Figure Mesh to GoZ (for a complete Poser figure) or
Object > Export Object Mesh to GoZ (for a single body part, or a prop)
The instructions for using GoZ are in Chapter 32 (Using Poser with Other Applications). There is a section called "Using Poser with ZBrush and GoZ."
Hope this helps.

Hi everyone,
Today I just broke my wallet and purchased Z-Brush 4R4 and when I try to export Meshes poser crashes or the figure I try to export is only added in the tool box.
I read the poser manual reference and i don't find in my poser the export options screenshot showed in the manual.
So my memory is confused and wondering if there is not a plugin installer (like posefusion) I can't find in smith micro website and that i haven't downlaoded with SR3 because i didn't need it at that time ?
And sorry for my bad english.
