Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
It sounds like it might not be for Jessi. Only Jessi's clothes will conform to Jessi. Also make sure you are not mixing original Jessi with Jessi g2. Screen shots might help people tell what's going on.
Generally you don't need to clothify conforming clothes. If you want to you can try but not all conforming clothes work well in the cloth room. To clothify an entire conforming you need to convert it to a prop. Depending on how the clothing was made it may fall apart at the seems. You can also try clothifying just parts of a conforming item like just the hip.
Available on Amazon for the Kindle E-Reader Monster of the North and The Shimmering Mage

I use Poser 13 and win 10
I am assuming that you have not purchased/downloaded and extra content, and are working with just what comes with Poser 9. If this is not the case, please tell me the leotard you are using.
The Leotards are for Alyson, Not Jessi. I do not see one for Jessi. (I may be missing it, I seldom use the older Poser characters.)
Unless the clothing item is specifically made for the figure in use, all attempts to work with it will fail. You need a piece of clothing made for Jessi to work with her (or you need to run it through wardrobe wizard to convert it, but that is a whole other learning curve.
Try using Alyson and the included leotard and see what happens.

That actually helped i was using the wrong model...thanks for the help.
But if you have a costume you downloaded and adjusted it to fit a model is there a way to lock the costume onto the model so it moves with them.
Like for example i had a downloaded a costume and adjusted it to fit the model and it looks good. but when i start moving the model the clothes do not go with her.
Do i have to keep adjusting the clothes as i move the model.
If it is a conforming item, select the clothing item. Go to the Poser Figure menu (3rd option from the left,) and click on "Conform To..." Select the figure you want to conform the item to, and click OK. The clothing will now track the figure.
If it is a dynamic item, you will have to run it through the clothroom everytime you change the pose.
If you download a costume, make sure it is for the figure you are using. Clothing made for Victoria 4 will not properly conform to Jessi or Alyson. You might be able to make it look okay, but as soon as you move the figure, you'll have to readjust the clothing. It's much easier if you use clothing meant for the figure.
If you decide to buy Victoria 4, DAZ is having a free Platinum Club weekend. Basically, it means special discounts for everyone. (You won't see them until you register an account there and log in.) Victoria 4 is 40% off. You'll probably want her morph pack as well.
DAZ has regular sales, and if you're patient, you'll probably be able to get an even better deal eventually. They have 50% off sales pretty regularly.

Can somebody help me with this problem...
I cannot get the clothes to fit correctly on my models.
for example i have poser 9
I have been trying to use jessie and apply one of her leotards to practice but her skin always pokes through. when I comform to her it forms her body in a weird position. If it has sleeves her forearms poke through the costume.
I have done a new simulation and when I try to clotify the suit does not show up in the options.
This happens with almost all the models. all the tutorials show the basics but they don't show my problems.
Pease help.
