@ cedarwolf- thanx i will take a look now.

@geep -well i am not worried about making one. it was more about rounded edges however after seeing yours i dont think it will be an issue.

Use the good Doctors example on a square flat primitive scaled to a rectangle.

The white area around the badge make it black and the inside all white and plug into the transparency node set to 100 percent in the material room.

You should have a rounded cornered ID badge. Of course you have to plug the original into the diffuse channel.

Now if you want it to look like it's been sealed in plastic....then get a sound editor and edit the famous sound track by the 3 Stooges..."Calling Dr. Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard" and change to calling "Dr. Geep, Doctor Nay-Say, Doctor Geep" and post to this thread.

I flunked material room 101 in college 9 times so you need somebody else like the Good Doctor or BB to tell you how to make it look just shiney enough, but not to shiney so you don't blow out the picture and the text on the badge.

Here is an ID card prop with bevelled edges. To post it to the forum I had to add a ".TXT" file extension. In order to use the zip you will need to loose the ".TXT" part of the file extension.

@Geep,
I used a cropped version of your Harry Person image in the package, hope you don't mind.

Geep, it's a very good image. Have you ever considered forgery as a profession? 😉

Look out- Apple lawyers saw the mention of round corners and are checking the patents now :)
