Have you installed the Genesis Starter Essentials?

Yes nobodyinparticular  I have installed the starter kit too

But where are they installed?  That warning is essentially telling you that your installation went into Win7's Program Files folder which is protected by UAC.  I installed mine into the Documents folder and have no such writing problems.

Ok so you are saying I should uninstall and reinstall in to the documents folder?????

Or are you talking bout the path when you click on scrips  DSON IMPORTER PREFERENCES?

If youre talking bout the Preferences its going to MyDocuments/ DAZ 3D/ Studios/ My Library

Is this your initial installation which is giving you the warning?

Not sure what you mean,  but I have installed it into Poser and everything works up to the point where I try to import the set over from daz to poser.   When I click on the item I want to use which is in my poser props folder thats when I get the error msg

The DSON program...the thing that runs...gets installed to your Poser program directory. Everything else - the content from the starter kit, etc. gets installed to your Poser content directory. I installed mine in a separate DSON folder. No problems (other than DSON's general sloth-like speed in Poser. :).

Ok guys I found the problem   In poser you have to add a direct link to the My Library folder in your documents folder that DAZ Studios automaticly makes when you install it.

Once you have done that youre good to go

Thanks for all your help
