Subject: V4 Head on Genesis

I've been toying around in DS more lately, but still too cheap to buy some V4 conversion tools. (holding out for a sale!)

Anyway, so I decided to see what I could accomplish using V4 head on genesis body, and it works really good, as long as you can "extend" the Genesis neck across a gap to V4's head.  I did this with a Trans map, and made them all single-click presets, and the results were good enough for me! (to postwork out in a flash if needed)

Anyway, the promo image has a sample of a Sabby and a Thorne V4 character head on genesis body.

Like the download says, it gets you about 95% of the way there.  Each one need a bend, tweak or scale, but usually only a bit.  More info in the readme.

Hope it helps someone! (click on the pic for the link)

Yep, I agree, but that was covered in the "...still too cheap to buy some V4 conversion tools." statement.  ;-)

Also, conversions are only as good as the converter (though GenX seems really good!).  In this case you get the exact V4 morph, since it is V4.

I've tried genX and i couldn't tell the difference between the fake V4 and the real one.  But yes, why spend money if you don't need to.  Good point.  your way is also very good.

Love esther

The one I saw that didn't quite work was a thorne character for A3, Sylfie.  It did not have quite the charm, but it was very close.  Of course, it is A3, and Sylfie, which is an original....and also A3 maps dont work on Genesis without another converter.

Ha, I must have got lucky.  I tried as hard as I could to see a difference with my V4 character, and they had the same texture.
