Finally got around to re-downloading all of my content from DAZ and Rendo last night. I plan on being up most of tonight re-installing it, and have already hit a snag.

I forgot PP2012 can't read old pz2 files to display content thumbnails in its Library. What format do I need to convert them to, and what can I use to do it?

Look for RSR Converter in freestuff by Dizzi. It should run and catch nearly all rsr files and convert them to png. Might not get them all, but it will get the lion's share of them.

Nothing happens when I click Convert.  I think it's looking for RSR files.  I'm trying to convert pz2 files.

PZ2 files do not need to be converted, thumbnail RSR files do. Its the old thumbnail RSR files that current versions of Poser do not recognize that need to be converted to PNG format.

Ensure that you do actually have RSR files in that folder. Also suggest that you click the Recursive option so that the utility converts files in the sub-folders.

Also make sure that you have permission to make changes to the folder.

Thanks for clarifying.

Weird.. there aren't any RSR files for this character anywhere.  I wonder where it's trying to read the thumbnails from?

Tried that.  No dice.

This is my home computer.  I'm the only one who uses it.
