I'm trying to figure out, step by step the problems with installing this attractive piece of software...

First step, after downloading, I get the components shown in the picture.

Seems like I downloaded only tools and plugins, not the main program ?

Yes there is no main program. I have no idea, if you can download the main program with DIM.

Maybe you should just download it from the DAZ website: My Account - Product Library
