Subject: Problem with V4WM

Renderholic ( ) posted Mon, 24 June 2013 at 4:26 PM · edited Wed, 22 January 2025 at 9:19 PM

Anyone else having this problem?  Full body morphs are not working in V4WM and the other morphs seems to only work on a single body part. For example the Inhale morph only works on the chest and not on the abdomen.  That means you have very limited function because if you crank up the Inhale on the chest you get a separate line on the addomen. The same thing happens with muscle morphs. You try to add abdomenal muscles and beyond a minumal adjustment it causes separate lines in the chest and hip.  With regular V4.2 I load the morphs and do the setup from the body, but that does not work on V4WM. I've gone back to V4.2 because of all the hassle with the weight-mapped figure.

I am assuming you are using P10 or PP2014.  V4WM works fine for me in PP2014.

Try using scenefixer on the cr2 to fix the FBM links?

So is that TTFN or TANSTAAFL?

Works fine for me, in Poser 9 and PoserPro2014.

Does non-weight mapped V4 work?  Is she is the same runtime as the V4WM?

I was morphing one just this afternoon and haven't had any problems....

I am using Poser 9.  No problems with V4.2 only with V4WM. Both are in the same runtime.

Sorry, not familiar with scenefixer. Can you give me some more info on where to find it and what it does?

I'm having a problem with FBM's also on V4.2 standard. I load the morph and it shows at the body level but there are no morphs loading to the individual body parts, the dial does nothing. This is happening both PP12 and pp14. I have done this a million times in the past with no problem at all, now they dont load. Strange.

Y'all have a great day.

Just a thought; did you happen to update V4 using DAZ Install Manager?  It doesn't seem to reinitialize V4; I have to do it manually...
