The "Ben-Hur" sun lounger is also mine ... from a while ago.

The shovel is part of a recent freebie beach set by Sparkyworld. I'll be using more items of that set for Roxie to interact with.

Or should I turn these couple poses into a whole new set ?

The bad news is it's been postponed for a while : I just suffered my 3rd computer crash this year. First the old computer (hard disk failure), then the spare / travel mini computer (hard disk failure), after which I bought a new computer. Not even a month later, you'll never guess : hard disk failure.  My computers are dying faster than the average spaghettiwestern gunslinger. I could only wish hard disks were as reliable as an Edinburgh tram ...

Still under guarantee so I had to take the computer back to the shop where I bought it and they said it would take "about" 15 days to get it back. However their repair service has a bad reputation for delays.

So I'm working on this old (anno 2006) computer which survived all these years but it's a 32bit without much "oomph". Don't know if it will be capable to run Poserpro14 32bit which is required for Roxie and Miki 4.

The good news is none of the pose files were lost, even the pose I was working on seems to have been saved.

Can't continue on the sunbathing/beach poses but instead I dug up a not yet released freebie, the Alptraum mountain chalet.  WIP above, nearly finished.

What do you mean you've heard that one before ?

Anyway it's got a nice rooftop terrace with plenty room for sunbathers, they don't need a beach. And if I can find it back you should get a chunk of mountain too.

I am the one on holiday, for a week.

Always Poser, since a certain R. Haseltine made sure I could never again post in their forums I am boycotting DAZ. 

Being made in P10pro the combination of textures and Poser shaders should work in P7, could be that you get the typical message stating something like "this thing was made in another version but Poser will try to read it anyway" after which it will load.

• bed poses for Roxy and Miki 4. I already had some Poses for M4 ready but using a Poserworld bed. As an ordinary "lifetimer" I feel cheated by these people and will no longer promote their stuff, so out goes their furniture. Which means adapting the poses to this iron bed, another freebie for which you will get a link.

Celebrity lookalikes are not my speciality, least of all for figures without much morphs available.

The old "flemish" farm is actually a Brabantian type farm : built as a small fortress, square shaped, walled. As the name says mainly found in the old province of Brabant, on both sides of the linguistic border. Does "La Haie Sainte" sound familiar to you ?

So the Brabantian farm is another possible freebie.

Important detail : Zatoishi is blind. Hence the special defensive fighting style which I will try to represent in a few typical poses.

I did return from Berlin, about 8000 pictures and a few miniature vehicles richer. Yet this may have been the last time, as the event I'm attending there is steadily going downhill.

Really bad news is that I have run out of install licenses for my architecture program and if you remember the last time this could only be solved by buying the program once more. Exactly the same version, there are no more updates.

The Japanese Bathing ritual, 4 poses for Miki 4.

As for everything else in Japan there is a complicated ritual to follow when taking a private or - especially - public bath. I'm only mentioning a few details, consult the Internet for the whole story.

• leave your indoor-slippers at the door. Other slippers may be provided.

• also provided are 2 towels, a small one for "modesty" purposes and a large one for drying off yourself. 

Thoroughly wash and rinse yourself OUTSIDE the bath. There are low benches to sit on and pails, faucets or showers are provided.

Nowadays most public baths are separated male/female, some are (still) mixed.

Note : you may be refused entrance to a public bath if you are wearing tattoos, as they are associated with Yakuza (sort of Japanese Mafia) members.

• All the writings on the signs "restaurant", "DR" etc... are removable loose props which can be coloured as you desire.

• The shops have a panel behind the glass which can be used for a fake interior image. Or made invisble to provide a real interior.

• Unfortunately the outer walls do not look good with heavier bump maps.

• Only 1 texture is used (and not indispensable) : the mosaic (a picture made by Darthj himself).

• Though this model uses mostly shaders many material zones are mapped to take textures.

Another "model kit" ready for kit-bashing ...
