I only wish he had a material zone for his pupils, because.. they look off somehow. But he's a GREAT character with a LOT of fun morphs! I love all his expressions!

Hi, yes you are right, now I have updated the files, you have independent material zones for the pupil and iris now.

I have tried, but unfortunally don't work, because if you use the grasp dials more than one time, deformation occurs in the fingers

I tried something similar some months ago, and the same thing happened.

It's a shame about the hands, but I've also had problems adding those grasp dials not so long ago. Now I'm wondering if it's another PP2014 bug that they can't be added as they used to...

ANYway.. I've spent the afternoon creating some face shaping morphs for him. It was a bit tricky since he's not symmetrical  (that adds to his charm but doesnt' make morph making easy ;)) so if anyone is interested, they're at my homepage now - and here in Free Stuff as soon as they get accepted.

(yes I know he looks dorky here, it's with all the morphs applied at various settings L)

You have two figures in the pack, one with posable and morphable genitals and the other one without them, to use with clothes.

Why not then, just do the interchangable hip thing, like with the P4 Dork?  wouldn't that be much easier, than to have to remove one whole figure from a scene, and replace it with another?  -and possibly mix up the poses while doing it?

Well for one thing, Blacksmith3D doesnt' like figures with interchangeable geometry, so in my case, I'm happy there are two (btw I hadn't realised that the gen figure was a whole other version, so I'm not sure if the morphs work on "Genital Guy". They ought to, but just in case they don't.. use the no gen version)

Except for expressions that may be lost if one forgets to make a save of them first, there's no problem with exchanging a figure in the middle of something. Just use the single checkmark and replace the figure with another. The pose will stay - as far as I know. Besides, won't you normall.y know from the beginning of a pic if you want the whang out in the open or not? ;)

Why is that a problem?  In properties you just uncheck visible, and the genital disappears!  It's what I do all the time with my M3 remapped version of Dork. It's certainly a lot easier to have just one figure who's versatile, rather than to constantly have to switch between 2 different figures.  This is especially true if one wishes to use this figure in making porn, which is a huge, but unspoken part of the Poser world.  At present, M4 seems to be the currant star!

D'oh. Trying to render him in Vue last night and some of his skin materials went missing. Weird. Have to try that again.

I think it's a little rude to gripe about the presence/not presence of genitals in a FREE figure. First he had genitals, then adh3d made a version without to help clothes makers. And now that's wrong? If it's a problem, then use a magnet or whatever to shrink his willy and use the willy-equipped figure only. 

I have no idea of how hard it is to make switching geometry. I know the basics, so.. Anyone who wants it could try their hand on it :) The figure is free, after all. Download it and try :) Save out the genital hip as a separate obj and then make a geometry swap that calls for that one. Shouldnt' be hard, if the hips are otherwise identical. But it DOES mean remaking all the FBMs of course. Good luck with those.

I think that it's a little rude to accuse others of being rude, when conducting a legitamate discussion of certain technical issues of a Poser figure. -especially when the aim is to simplify its usage.

dphoadley, when I designed him, I had 3 options in mind, make him the way you are talking about, make a "conforming genitals" and the last one the way I choose, make two figures.

I am sure all 3  options have good and bad things, I think this one, two figures, has more adventages, but, you know, it just an opinion. Note, that two figures are equal, so you can use the same  clothes in the adman with genitals.

I thought that if you are going to use pants, slips... really you don't need genitals geometry in the scene.

Usually you would be right, but I can think of a few situations where a male figure might be posed with exposed geintals while still keeping his pants on! ;=D

-especially if he has to catch a bus on the run!!

In that case, you can use the adman with genitals like any other figure.

I also think its rather rude to dominate a new release thread with your personal developement preferences, especially just to boost the porn potential of a figure.

If you like it that way, make and release your own figure, but stop bitching about it.
