Subject: Question about rigging

When changing the eye position in poser figures, look up, down etc.

The eyelid follows accordingly. Can someone explain to me how this is accomplished.

The "blink" and "wince" morphs are ERC coded to the "up-down" (x-rotate) movement of the eyeball.

You can do this easily yourself using Poser's dependency editor.

For the new toons, I rigged the eyelids with ghost bones. This gave me more control of the lids as the eye moves around and let me use the added benefit of weight mapping. Still had to tie the motions of the lids and eyes together via dependency but I really liked the way it worked, as it allowed for the side to side movement of the lid as well as the up and down.
