It's clearly not the peeps that have not have DL'd it that are to fault. It if was I would happily blame 250000 peoples rather that myself. So what Is wrong with my courtyard? I spent an age developing. Please, chaps, look at it and give me a clue.
stuff like this happens. I have 2 collections of old tube type radios in my freestuff that have been dl'd way over 1000 times each package and know they work well cuz I had them tested and yet I've not got word one about them being used i a render or a thank you...just the way it is in freestuff. The fact it's dl'd is as good as a thank you I feel and just maybe they're waiting for the right scene to use em in..

Luckybears, I hope I never miss an upload of yours, your work just keeps getting better and better. The courtyard is lovely but I haven't had the chance to use it in a render yet, except for a test render when I downloaded it. I haven't uploaded anything to the gallery in ages - too busy putting Poser to work making training illustrations. My favourite of yours is the conference room, but that is mainly because that is the sort of thing I have an immediate use for. Never think your work is unappreciated.
With my country's currency plummeting the way it is, quality free items are extremely welcome.

I sometimes wonder, but it's probably just me. I put something up, and at the same time, wondering why because I know I can do better. Then it gets a lot of attention, a lot of downloads. But I put something up that I think is pretty nice, and you can hear the bomb going off. So, my thoughts go, it doesn't matter what I think is useful, and if I'm going to be thin skinned about it, maybe I shouldn't put them up to begin with.
Courtyard might be nice, for some it may be very useful, but I would have no use for it. The little garage I put up, I use the hell out of it, but to say it hasn't taken the Poserworld by storm would be understatement. Massive understatement. Big deal.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it. And especially don't go by comments and thank yous because you're not going to get a lot of them. I get maybe the same thank yous from the same six or eight people with every freebie I release. I love hearing from them because it does make you feel that somebody appreciates all the work you do, but ultimately you shouldn't do it for the thank yous.
Don't be so hard on yourself and don't go by comments as they are not a reflection of what is truly appreciated. You would have to be a top selling merchant to attract a lot of comments on a freebie. If I was to go by comment it would be a mere handful, but my website had 10.5 gig of downloads last month, and that is without share cg, thus peeps must appreciate what I do and the same goes for you.
Enjoy what you are doing as this is what is important and keep a positive attitude as that is also important for your well being....
