Subject: Fabricator questions

cedarwolf ( ) posted Mon, 02 September 2013 at 11:29 AM · edited Mon, 28 October 2024 at 5:16 AM

Morning everyone...  I noticed a little goodie over at DAZ called the Fabricator.  Actually, what caught my attention was the add-on for Quilts and such.  Has anyone purchased and used this thing?  I'm looking for input from end users, not engineers, please.  How is it for

  • Ease of use
  • Ease of understanding
  • Is it idiot friendly
  • Does it actually do what it says it will

Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Yes, easy to use - the same as applying a shader to a surface...

make sure you have the item of clothing/prop selected in the SCENE tab, then in the SURFACES tab, select the parts you want to apply Fabricator content to, then apply whatever preset you want to use.
