Quote - Just tested with Explorer 64bit. (shudder)

Pretty much the same result. Formatting is OK, as long as the font size is tiny.

As soon as you raise font size, everything's jumbled up and wastes tons of screen space.

er... no. Perhaps with whatever customization you've made, but otherwise it enlarges the font just fine.

I DO think there's a lot of wasted space at the sides. Expecially on a wide screen monitor, and be honest.. doesn't most people have those nowadays? I'm sure it looks better on a phone/tablet, time will tell, but as it is now, it's a waste of space.

Still.. I'm sure all that grey space at the sides will in time be filled with ads ;)

The ignore.. I guess some will find it useful. I don't. I'd rather have a "like" button... but that's me...

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

@TrekkieGrrrl: Agreed.  A Like or Thanks button or something social like that ;)

It would be nice if the forum width filled your monitor width, sans the space needed for Ads (that I'm NOT blocking, I swear! LOL).

From what experts are saying it's all going phones or tablets, except us luddites with desktops and laptops.  To me, it's just coming full-circle.  Way back, only nerds and geeks had home computers.  I get where it's going but, to me, I really don't need the mobility angle.  I can see that if you are on a college campus or are going from place to place a lot.  Unless I want to ride the bus and circle the city over and over, I'm fine with being a home body :P

.

Gimme a huge, noisy paperweight with three screens and I'm a happy girl ;). Don't care about mobile either.

I would assume Poser doesn't work on a  phone or a tablet, so it's probably safe to say every reader of this forum is a desktop- or laptop-using luddite at least some of the time. So wanting a poser forum that works on a larger screen  seems reasonable.

One advantage of these customisations is that I can now happily peruse the forums at work, without random scantily clad lasses in saucy poses appearing all over the screen ...

Would be kinda nice if we could show images as links in the forums (with a choice of either/or) like we can in chat. Then browsing at lunchtime wouldn't be a problem ;).

I've used Poser on my ipad, over the network with Splashtop Streamer ;). Not exactly user friendly, but it worked ;). Of course, in the end, all the work was being done by my trusty desktop. LOL

Attached Link: no images

I am not fond of the changes. Was looking at this thread with images posted by Ted a couple days ago. Now they are gone.

Also the spacing is huge from one thread to the next. Was much better when things were compact.

After all the changes to this site and we still do not have English spell check? I realize these forums allow all languages but I can not remember the last time I saw a Russian post or a Tagalog post. Please give us an English spell check as my brain is broken from building these products of mine. :-)

Have had to resort to copy paste into a blank e-mail to check my spelling.

Please do it okay? I am begging on my knees.

Tom
