I've been using 1.3 for quite awhile (the previous beta anyway). Just FYI, it shows up as 1.2.1 or some such in the Lux about screen. 

I thought there was a big displacement or other glitch guess if your using it must be ok

The displacement message is just a depracation warning, it can be safely ignored.

I could of sworn there was a big problem when it was 1st released but I just d/l it it says its RC2

It Is a bit quiet here lately.

You know I make the occasional freebie for Reality users, well the site I use will not let me upload any more files so I will need to do some spring cleaning before I start making anything new. So with this in mind please check to see if there is anything there you want before it goes (click on the banner below).

I don't often ask for help, but I could really use some right now.

I'm involved in a video contest that would mean the world for me to win. I have 2 chances, one is being selected by a panel of judges. The other means getting the most votes. I am asking you to please help me get those votes.

It has an animated sequence that I did in Reality/Luxrender and composited with live video. 

I would appreciate any help I could get.

I think this will be useful once we get R3. I don't find the community at RDNA as "spirited" as we used to be here. I know it really helped in my early days...

Sorry you feel that way. It just a different structure and not one long thread like this is.  I find it much easer to find information tjere, where here it got buried and lost with all the images being posted.  But I personally like structure.

I am referring more to community support its just not the same IMO anyhow its not here anymore either...

Is the latest version of DS, 4.6.1.33, working fine with Reality 2.5 ?  I don't think I've seen any comments about this one way or the other.  I'd like to find out before doing the install.  Thanks!

Hi Bob.

We are just reorganizing the galleery a little bit. It all comes down to balance. You are, by far, the artists with the highest amount of images in our gallery. You still are :). We are just trying to get a little more balance because no other people have such a huge representation. So, we like to sort some of the artwork so that the highest quality pieces have are highlighted more. We are doing this on a semi-regular basis with several artworks. This is not affecting you alone.

Some of the pieces that were submitted the first days the gallery opened are not there anymore. It's all about keeping the interest alive and making sure that the newest works have the exposure that they deserve.

DAZ Studio 4.6.1.33 and Reality 2.5 seem to be getting along just fine :)

Another question.  I'm still using LuxRender 1.2.1.  Is there any reason to upgrade to the latest, which I believe is 1.3.1, as I am still using Reality 2.5 with DS4.6?  Thanks!

I didn't realize just how much I had accumulated but then I had stuff from Renderosity before they were called Renderosity and from sites that no longer exist

Good luck organising your Poser/DS collection Robert. At least now DAZ has the DIM, which makes it a bit easier for DazStudio users.
