So you get quite alot of models free included with poser 2014 like some robots etc. Im assuming because they have been included with poser 2014 which Ive bought,  that I can use them however I want.

Are we allowed to use them in commercial renders as i want to use them as sprites in a game im selling on the android market . And if im not allowed ..how would I go about buying a license for them ..since they are already included i doubt they would be selling anywhere

Last I checked, renders are yours to do with as you will. As long as you aren't distributing the models themselves you should be OK.At least that's how stuff we create are handled.  However, you may want to contact the creator of the third party content in question to be sure.

it might be problem if sprite includes 3d/facet/geom info like that found in video games, but not if it's img format (gif/jpg/mp4).  I've seen term "sprite" used since mid-90s, but no specific definition.

I first heard the term in the 1970s, as 2D graphic objects in games.  The use of 2D renders of Poser content  for commercial use in games is OK, so long as none of the actual geometry is included...

Read the read me first.  If there is a restriction on commercial use, it will be listed there.  If you still have questions, contact the vendor.  It's better to take a little extra time and have all your ducks in a row than just assume and be wrong.
