The Triskele (aka triskelion; triple spiral) is a mystical, ancient sybmol of Celtic culture, as well as other early cultural myth. It's featured in many seals, coats of arms, and other symbolic imagery. This triple spiral amulet model is available in several scaled .objformats, for importing easily into other applications, like Blender, Poser, or Daz|Studio. All parts of the model has been UV Unwrapped, and come complete with detailed texture maps for all the metallic sub-objects. Textures include a detailed diffuse/color map, specular/reflection map, glossy map (for use with glossy/blurry reflections), a detailed bump map, and a normal map. All preview renders were created with the same maps provided. The jewels do not have maps associated with them, but any diamond or precious stone procedural material will work just fine for them. All maps are provided in maximum quality JPG format, at a resolution of 1024x1024 pixels, which is suitable for extreme close-up rendering. Notice that you may need to tweak, or adjust, the bump and reflection parameters of the maps, to ensure an optimum render results. Seamless procedural materials should work fine on this model as well, and are also encouraged. I recommend using either the bump map, or the normal map, but not both at once. The bump map was translated from the normal map, so it contains the same detail features. I recommend using the normal map, if your software provides support for that.

This model is intended for high resolution rendering and visualization, and may not be suited for real-time game engines, without some optimization. The object consists of 10,417 polygons in total, and 10,434 vertices. The model is 82% quad polygons, and 17% triangles (only on the jewels). There are no polygons in this model that exceed 4 sides.

Please review the special instructions in the README.txt for OBJ import.*

Optionally, you can also download this object form the following resource locations, as well as view the wireframe and additional preview renders:

Thanks!

Somehow, the links in my post above to ShareCG and Turbosquid got screwed up, and contain code from my DeviantArt profile.  They still work, but go through DA for some reason. Here's the direct links, if you wanted to download them from either of those resources:

Turbosquid.com
