Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 26 6:57 am)
heyas; well, pro pack doesnt use the geometry rsr any more, it just access the obj directly. that's why. it doesnt use library rsrs any more, only pngs or whatever. well, i dont really need ray dream to open pz3s any more, since i dont use that to render. although if it still does the animated pz3s..... hmmm!
Well, I got it to work. I installed poser4 in a different directory. Moved the Cr2 and OBj to there corresponding directories. when the cr2 opens the obj, it creates a cr2. the poser extension in raydream needs to be edited so that it accesses the pose.exe of the poser 4 program, not the propack. This allowed for an animation of michael in Raydream.

I am trying to make a Michael character that works in Raydream 3d Studio. I have poser Pro Pack. I have created the character, but I need to be able to create an .RSR file for the character. Older versions of Poser automatically created an RSR file if you deleted them before opening poser. The new version don't do that. Is ther a utility out there that you can edit the current michael RSR and change the OBJ reference to my new Raydream version? Raydream requires the RSR file. Thanks Gray
