This is a scale replica of Leonardo de Vinci’s Cannon that my Dad received at a business conference in Italy in 1970.

'C' is for Columns - taken at the ruins of Whitby Abbey in North Yorkshire.

What fun!  I'm really enjoying this, and seeing what's been posted this week has given me more ideas.  We've been in the throes of buying a winter "snowbird" place, and I haven't been thinking about photography much!  It's good to come here and see what everyone has been up to.  :)

That's the sort of image that brings big bucks in a gallery, Clive!  The artist's blurb invariably would say something about the representation of man's relationship to the environment or cultural something-or-other or some similar yah-yah-blah-blah.  :P
