Subject: Trouble loading certain .pz2 motion files

I'm having trouble getting certain motion files to work in pp2014.  Most of the motion files I have work fine, but recently I purchased some files from es3d. After loading a motion file the figure is sometimes translated on the y axis ten feet below the floor. Furthermore the hands and forarms seem to be screwed up as well. Fingers pointing in unrealistic ways and forarms bending un-naturally.

Im just using a default v4 and ive tried using IK and not.

Does anyone here have experience using es3d .pz2 motion files?

The high Y axis is a familiar problem.  It usually comes from a BVH file that was translated into a PZ2.   BVH files generally don't have a BODY, and automatic translation often leaves either the BODY or the Hip at an unrealistic height.

The fingers are an unfamiliar problem, but neither of these problems should happen in a properly made pose file applied to the intended figure.

Check first to be sure the files are meant for V4.  Then see if the files came with a readme that explains how to fix, or maybe a python script to fix the problems.  If not, you can assume the pose files are badly made.

So Ive tried several more times to load these animations and Im noticing it seems like the animation is loading twice. When i switched from pp2012 to 14 I noticed the first time I loaded v4 it loaded her twice for some reason.

I also like to use Nakia morphs for v4 and when I loaded it to v4 it loaded twice and she looked all deformed.  These were easy fixes because all I had to do was go to the edit tab and undo the last thing loaded.

Ive tried doing that with the animation but it just doesnt sseem to work. When I load the animation for v4 it looks fine for the fist half that its loading, then (I could be totaly wrong) but it appears to load the animation twice.

Any Ideas?
