What fun!  I'll be looking around for interesting signs.  We're on Galveston Island right now.  I bet I'll find all sorts of things!  :)

Nice one Bill but it's a good job Tara put me right on what the sign says. I couldn't quite read it and thought it said "No Fornication or Lounging on this Deck". Lol.

Here is a shot of a sign that was modified by someone driving a bit faster than 80 km/h!

The M49 arrow should be pointing the other way, by the way.

The east/west streets in Galveston, Texas, go through the alphabet.  Apparently they hadn't thought much in advance about intermediary streets, because they're all labeled 1/2.  So there's L, L1/2, M, M1/2, N, N1/2, O, (and my favorite,) O1/2, P, P1/2 ... you get the idea.  The tertiary streets are either nameless alleyways or streets with names like Teal, Gull, Ibis, Palm, Teak and Sylvia.  Amuse yourself by looking up Galveston on Google maps and zooming way in, if you like this sort of thing!  :)

That sort of makes sense, Tara, though not very appealing.  What do they do after Z 1/2?

It's a very narrow island, and I think the "highest" street number is U, or maybe V.  whew ... lucky that, huh?  :P

That's certainly an eye-catching way to sell berries!!
