Subject: Animated Props

I make a prop in max, it does this and that. But when I export and import as a .obj into poser whatever frame I was at that prop gets saved as that.

I could make it into an actor and then deal with it but I much rather keep it a prop.

Suggests, Links, ideas?

You have two options.

  1. make the whole model into a figure.

  2. save the prop in its component parts and import each one separately.

My I ask why you want to keep it as a prop in poser rather than go the figure route?

I thought wouldn't be able to set a parent to it. But turns out you easily can.
