It is possible to create a likeness of someone with Daz Studio within the boundaries of the morphs you have installed. But generally you would use modelling software for something like this where you have more freedom to sculpt the figure mesh to fit the required proportions.

I'll see about digging up some tutorials on how to turn pictures in to figure skins. But do you have enough of or the right type of pictures to make a skin; here's a site that specializes in photos for human skinning  http://www.3d.sk/site/index

Next you will need a good photo editor.

For the figure it's self Razor42 is right, to do a great job you whould have to model a character morph. But you can dialspin up a reasonable version. I could tell you how to do it in carrara, but not at all sure how in studio

This is something that is easier to do in Poser-- the Faceroom is designed for this.

The technology is actually something called "Facegen" from the folks at Singular Inversions. They have a version of the software for Daz, but it costs. If you have a copy of Poser, then you already have the technology.

Realistically, if you're not experienced in 3D modelling, you'll have a tough time doing this by hand. You certainly could use a tool like Blender to do it-- but facial modelling is like sculpting, takes talent and experience.

FInd two photos of the same model that can be used like a "mug shot" meaning a full front view of the face and a side view, in both photos try to find the subject looking straight at the camera with the head as level as possible.

You will need to combine the images in a photo editor so the head is the same size on each side of the image then load the image as the background in Studio, then load your model and set the camera so the figure's head is in the same area as your picture.Adjust morphs to approximate the shape of the face with morph targets.

No human face is symetrical but most of your morphs are so to get the finer details fixed you would need some modeling program that allows you to create morphs and import them, crocodilian mentioned Blender and while this is an amazing application it has one hell of a learning curve so unless you are comfortable with it already I don't suggest it unless you want to spend many hours with tutorials and reading materials. all that aside I just did a photo-real render for a company that was having trouble with getting the lighting in a photo they were doing and I did it all in Blender and they were very happy. It's worth learning but it takes patience.

almost the same as said crocodilian, to create a model of facial images, FaceGen still the best I've ever tried.

3D software like some poser, iclone does provide tools to make the shape of the face, but must have high accuracy for the set and you need a photo of the face of a variety of different viewpoints.

so, to get a model of neatness as the original approach I recommend FaceGen

I try do it by ps ,but the real women map is blur and small on the textures.

I normally create the morphs in Zbrush or use scan data in Zbrush to create the morphs. Just like i did with this model. After texturing she looks exactly like the real girl.

easiest way..(for the head)

FaceGen Modeller=$299.00

                 +

FaceGen Exporter=$99.00

the exporter saves it straight into Daz as a Morph.

but as you can see it isnt cheap.

and thats only for the head.

theres really no 1 click solution for the body which I know of though.

either play with the morph dials on genesis till you get it were you want it (very simple)

use Zbrush get the body shape you want on Genesis (very simple since you have GoZ )
