Thanks to Helle (helanker) for the photo for Week 5 of 'Do it to it'.

Hmm, I have lot of ideas for this one!

How about the rest of you?!

helanker ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 3:02 AM

I am really looking forward to see your ideas Clive :-))

I will try later today to see what I can make out of this :)

Great photo for the DITI Helle.

dochtersions ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 5:20 AM

WOW, Helle, what a fantastic photo for the 'Diti'.

@ Andrew, this is spectacular to watch, happening in Denmark. :)

Hows this to start?

helanker ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 8:28 AM

Great fun Andrew :-)))  Good it is not reality :-)

Beautiful postwork you have created here, Steve :-)

This begins really promising  :-)

Here is my first:

I adjusted highlight/midtone severel time and changed contrast and then I adjusted hue and used colorize... all in PSP9, which is my favorite program. I have PSP X3, but I dont use it. Cannot cope with the browser system.

Got my copy, and will work on something later!  :)  Thanks!

Great pic and wonderful work already from Andrew, Garage and Helle herself!

A little change of season for your lovely cottage Helle :)

Is this a case of Spidey meeting his maker, Andrew?

You are a master with that technique, Steve!

My feet are already frozen down here in the South, thanks for making them colder, Helle & Ronnie!

(off to the cellar from last week for a bit of anti-freeze....)

helanker ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 12:47 PM

AWW! Great effect, Ronnie :)

Like an ink drawing Helle.

A return to the golden age of photography and the end of the roll.  I suppose I could have had little yellow frame numbers here, and the name Kodak or Eastman with 50 DIN, but that would be really stretching it I think :)

helanker ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 1:12 PM

HAHA!! Awesome one Ronnie :-)

Adobe_One_Kenobi ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 1:16 PM

Thanks Helle.  It made me start to thinking of a young man back in the late sixties taking incredibly bad pictures and spending half his wages on processing them, then looking at them and saying "Blah!! rubbish"

helanker ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 1:18 PM

Maybe his name was ... eeehh.... Ronnie? :)

Adobe_One_Kenobi ( ) posted Thu, 29 May 2014 at 1:41 PM

Got it in one Helle :)

Bill, We have an old song:

Hist hvor vejen slår en bugt
Ligger der et hus så smukt

Væggene lidt skæve stå
Ruderne er ganske små

Døren synker halvt i knæ,
Hunden gør, det lille kræ.

Under taget svaler kvidre.
Solen synker og så vid´re.

Yonder where the road is bending
there is a house so beautiful.

The walls are a little quirky
The windows are quite small

The door sinks half of the knees,
The dog barks, the little creature.

Under the roof swallows are twittering.
The sun is setting - and so on.

There are more to the song, but this vil do....  if you are more curious, click the link :)

auntietk ( ) posted Fri, 30 May 2014 at 11:56 AM

I like Helle's song for your twisty building, Bill!  :)

And OMG, Clive.  That's brilliant!  I found all 12 of us.  Jacomina looks so cute sitting on top of that pole!  :)  Outstanding work, and worth whatever time you spent on it.  What fun!

Thanks Helle for your song! It fits my crooked little house very well:-)

AND Clive, WOW! 12 layers. I love this. The whole gang is there. Hope we all brought something good to eat:-)))

I agree Tara, this is fun!

I had a shot of the back cover of a car wing mirror - the reflection was a street shot in Wimbledon.

So I replaced it with a Danish reflection...
