Hello

I had a poser break for some years and I'm finally trying to get back in. For an experiment of mine I wanted to test some really basic options from material room, lets say for example the U and V scaling of a 2d texture that is also tiled.

when i adjust the U or V scale parameters, the changes are correctly displaying in preview window. But when i render the scene, the textured item always appear as with 1x1 scaled tiled texture.

Do i miss something or did something wrong ? or is there an issue here ? (using poser 8 and 10 gave out same problem on render)

Thank you a lot for any help, folks

Ohhh ! my bad, sorry for such stupid question... I mostly used P4 until i took my poser break... advanced material room is a whole new land to explore :)

i didnt think autofit was in question as the preview was behaving correctly. I just tried to uncheck it and it is working.

Thank you a lot

Quote - i didnt think autofit was in question as the preview was behaving correctly

SM wrote the preview engine using a different person and it does not know the rules - at all.

Another common mistake of preview is it always uses global coordinates even when that option A) does not exist or B) is turned off.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

Usually I'm wrong. But to be effective and efficient, I don't need to be correct or accurate.

visit www.aRtBeeWeb.nl (works) or Missing Manuals (tutorials & reviews) - both need an update though
