What fun here, you all have such original idea's. Bravo!

Here are my entries (at the end, it's rather busy here, I forgot the first week of June to drop something here)

DRAWER('S).  btw: In my english dictionary is that this is a name given to a pair of underpants.

Adobe_One_Kenobi ( ) posted Tue, 10 June 2014 at 12:38 PM

Good ones Mies.  That's right underpants are called drawers, but that is usually applied to women's knickers,  These type of men's underwear you have shown are also known as "combinations" or "Long Johns"

**"Dove Babies"** The mama Dove of my previous posts has two babies.  Although Mama has shades of tan, brown, gray, black, and white. I was surprised to see the little ones were only shades of gray and black.

Thanks for viewing and your comments. Posted in larger [but still reduced] resolution in my Gallery.

Meisiekind ( ) posted Wed, 11 June 2014 at 1:52 AM

Jeff - make sure that your images conform to the size. Remember they need to be NO LARGER than 800pixels x 600pixels and no larger than 200KB.

There should not be any other reason why you cannot upload here.

Just tried again Carin - no success. My pic is at 146 kb.

As you know, I have posted here many times so I just don't know what I am doing wrong !

Meisiekind ( ) posted Wed, 11 June 2014 at 3:28 AM

Jeff it shows me that you have deleted the post. I'm not sure why.

Apart from the KB size, is it equal to or smaller than 800x600 pixels?

Hi Carin,

I deleted because the pic did not appear and this seems to be the problem.

auntietk ( ) posted Wed, 11 June 2014 at 11:25 AM

@ Jeff:  Your text appears with no picture, right?  Sometimes if I link to a forum thread via a bot, I can't get my picture to post.  Try getting here "manually."  Go to the forum page, open the photography section, click on this thread ... and try again.  It's the only way I've found to get a picture posted when that happens.  Hope this helps!  If that doesn't work, you can start a thread in the Community Center forum and get Tina to work on it for you, or see if you can directly contact that aliens that live in our computers and ask them nicely if they'll quit screwing around with you.  :P

Attached Link: Double Decker.

Double Decker.

This Double Decker is being used to transport some of the school leavers, in my second grandsons year, on their proms day.

Have had a lot of trouble trying to post this and I thank Carin and Tara for their assistance in guiding me.

Jeff.

WOW, what great idea's again for this 'D'-challenge.

@ Jim, I've never seen young dove's such close.

@ Garageland, I can see on their faces, it really was a dragon-race.

@ Ronny, Thank you for your explanation with regard to the English underwear. Long John's, yes, now that you mention it, I had heard this name before, but never seen, an Englishman with legs (and what else?) in it. :)

@ Jeff, What an unlucky person you are, my friend. And we here too, because we miss your grandson, and the double decker.

And regarding Clive's last post....:
The only thing that I need to do is making several pictures from the garden of my neighbour. Oh well, one would be enough to frighten you all!

"@ Jim, I've never seen young dove's such close."

Sadly I have to report that one of the babies didn't survive a storm the other night.  I found it on my deck about 20 feet away.  I haven't seen the mother or other baby since then.  They are no longer in the next even though the nest survives.

I chose not to photograph the Dead baby Dove for this challenge.
