Reminds me a little of Dune, not exactly sure why. Cool start. The overall proportions seem a little odd, like something is either too short or too tall. Maybe putting in some object that has a "known" height could bring everything in line.

johnj.... the Dune thing is that in the first movie.. they had some sorta hovering lamp kinda thingy.. that looks like that. very cool work and lighting Pleiades

I have made some changes to the textures. Thank for the help and info. I will put something that will give idea of the size it should be. Pleiades

Reminds me of an old Star Trek show where the inhabitants of a plant had their brains preserved in a sphere.
